Join the R&D organisation

Joining our dynamic department, you can look forward to becoming part of a great work environment where you will work alongside knowledgeable Programme and Project Managers.

“Systems Engineering plays an important role in identifying needs and requirements up front and securing that design control activities are well managed” says Director Systems Engineering, Niels Eilersen.

Identify the product needs and requirements
In our R&D organisation, we have a dedicated Systems Engineering team consisting of 12 Systems Engineers. We are all based in our headquarters in Humlebæk, and work on the new product development projects with the purpose of driving systems engineering activities as an integral part of product development. You will be a core member of the project team.

We are the ones to identify the product needs and requirements, collaborating closely with all stakeholders in the project. The goal is to have a smooth process with clarification up front, allowing us to create just the right product, whether it be within software, electronics, materials, mechanical design – or even all of them combined in an embedded solution.

”We have great competencies in our Systems Engineering team, and sharing knowledge and experience is natural and expected even if we all work on different projects” explains Niels.

Your responsibilities
As our new Senior Systems Engineer, you will be dedicated to different product development projects. You will lead stakeholder needs and requirements activities across the organisation, planning and aligning input with internal and external participants to ultimately map out the key requirements for a future product and you will also be responsible for the design control track of your project.

Specifically, you will:

  • Conduct workshops, interviews and analysis to elicit needs and requirements from internal and external stakeholders based on project needs
  • Establish, maintain, control and manage needs and requirements
  • Have the responsibility for design control activities during product development incl. facilitation of design reviews
  • Be responsible for the product risk management process and file

Bring your experience to play
As a person, you are good at putting your experience into play in order to reach out, start initiatives and be the first mover towards all your stakeholders. You are also a great networker who understands that issues are solved through collaboration, and you know how to create dialogue to reach a compromise.

Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a master’s degree in engineering or life science
  • Have experience from working in the medical device/life science industry
  • Come with experience within product development, systems engineering, requirements engineering, design control or product risk management.
