Do you want to shape digital health solutions – and make a difference for people with intimate healthcare needs?

Join Coloplast.

Here, you will work across both established digital health products and new technology explorations, giving you real variety in your role.  You will also have a flexible setup with a mix of office and remote work, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Join our Digital Health team
Joining us at our HQ in Humlebæk, you will become part of our Digital Health team within Chronic Care R&D. We are a small but high-impact interdisciplinary team of senior specialists within product management, verification, SaMD processes, and requirements engineering.

Our interface is broad – we collaborate closely with our end-to-end development team of external consultants to deliver Medical Device Software, as well as with other technology teams, including the Embedded Solutions team and teams within Digital, Data & IT (DDIT).

Our focus is on delivering high-quality, scalable, and compliant digital health software efficiently and sustainably. At the same time, we prioritise sustainable workloads, and an informal yet professional working environment.

You take full ownership of the architecture
You will be responsible for defining and driving the software architecture end to end. That means making sure solutions are robust, secure, scalable, and compliant – and actually work in practice. One of your first priorities is helping finalise and launch our rearchitected Heylo app for people with intimate healthcare needs.

In your day-to-day work, you will work with modern technologies such as Kotlin Multiplatform, Microsoft Azure, and Cloud events.

You will have a curious and creative mindset, with a technology generalist mindset not limited to software enabling you to spar and collaborate with hardware teams and solutions.

More specifically, you will:

•    Provide technical leadership for medical device software, including technology selection, scalable architecture, efficient release processes, and high quality documentation
•    Foster proactive and effective collaboration with other teams, for example through project planning and execution, knowledge sharing, workshop participation
•    Lead and mentor development teams, shaping work with Product Management and other solution architects, ensuring strong engineering practices, fostering a positive team culture, and upholding architectural and design standards
•    Ensure operational excellence across the software lifecycle, covering automated quality assurance, cybersecurity compliance, performance and behaviour monitoring, and supporting release, maintenance, and complaint investigation activities
•    Be an active participant in technology research and early-stage product development projects into new applications of existing technologies

You know how to build and lead solid architecture
With solid hands-on experience, you take ownership from day one and drive architecture end to end. You work in a structured way and know that quality and documentation are non-negotiable in regulated software development.

We also imagine that you:

•    Have 5+ years of hands-on experience with software architecture and leading development across the full software development lifecycle
•    Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or similar
•    Have experience with automated testing architecture and execution
•    Can manage your own deliverables as well as those of a development team
•    Can maintain strong working relationships across teams and department
