Senior PMO Manager – Resource, Capacity & Finance Management

About the job
Are you motivated by turning portfolio ambition into realistic resource, capacity and financial plans? Do you enjoy creating transparency that helps leaders make better prioritisation and trade-off decisions?

Join our PMO, Innovation Portfolio Management within R&D Chronic Care organisation.
Coloplast has a long history of developing innovative products that make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs. At our headquarters in Humlebæk, you will join the PMO department within the R&D Innovation Portfolio Management organization, where we drive portfolio management and execution across the innovation portfolio, enable strategy deployment, and advance performance management across the R&D organization.

As Senior PMO Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing how Coloplast invests its R&D resources and budget across the innovation portfolio. You will provide the capacity, financial and portfolio insights that enable leaders to make informed investment decisions, evaluate strategic scenarios, and balance portfolio ambition with execution reality. Through resource, capacity and financial intelligence, you will help ensure that R&D investments are directed toward the highest-value opportunities.

Turn portfolio ambition into executable plans
In this role, you will help strengthen the planning foundation that connects portfolio priorities with resource capacity and financial commitments. You will help to create an integrated view of what we can deliver, where capacity is needed, and how resources and finances can best support portfolio decisions.

Your key responsibilities include:
•    Drive and further develop the resource and finance planning process and drive continuous improvement across R&D
•    Provide resource, capacity and financial insights that help leaders across R&D and the Innovation Value Stream optimize portfolio investments, prioritisation and resource allocation decisions
•    Create demand and capacity views by project, phase and critical capability, building transparency on bottlenecks across R&D and key R&D+ functions
•    Drive resource planning cycles, support portfolio capacity reviews and follow-up, including administration of the resource management system.
•    Build and analyze portfolio scenarios that help leaders evaluate strategic options, resource implications and investment trade-offs across the innovation portfolio
•    Consolidate resource, cost and capacity data into clear decision material for senior leadership
•    Drive process for input to OPEX, CAPEX and FTE planning across the portfolio
•    Support finance forecasting, reviews and reporting in close collaboration with Finance
•    Track actuals vs. forecast and help improve forecast accuracy across programs and projects

Turn complexity into clear planning decisions
Success in this role requires the ability to work closely with a broad network of stakeholders across R&D, Finance and the Innovation Value Stream. You will help create transparency on resource constraints, investment choices and portfolio trade-offs, enabling leaders across the organization to make better decisions and optimize portfolio performance.

You are comfortable working with project plans, resource data, cost data, forecasts and portfolio priorities. You can turn this into clear scenarios and recommendations that senior leaders can act on.

What you bring:
•    Minimum 5 years of experience from PMO, portfolio management, resource management, capacity planning, finance planning, business controlling or similar
•    Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Life Science, Technology or equivalent
•    Strong experience with resource planning, capacity management, financial forecasting or portfolio planning in a complex organization
•    Experience building demand/capacity views, resource models, portfolio scenarios or planning processes
•    Good understanding of OPEX/CAPEX planning, FTE planning, forecast follow-up and financial decision support
•    Ability to translate resource and financial data into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders
•    Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and align leaders across functions around resource, capacity and investment decisions
•    Experience from R&D, medical devices, pharma, life science or another regulated industry — this is an advantage
•    Communicate effortlessly in written and spoken English
