Senior IT Service and Business Continuity Manager

Are you passionate about ensuring IT service continuity in the face of unplanned outages? And would you like to truly impact our approach to this area in a large global organisation?

Then this is your chance to join a great team in a dynamic environment where you get to play an important role in ensuring that our priorities are tied to relevant business processes.

“What really excites me about this job is that you’re never idle. No two days are alike, we work in an ever-changing environment and thus need to be able to adapt and modify as our environment develops,” explains Per Tardum, Head of Global Information Security and Service Transition.

Welcome to Global Information Security & Service Transition
At our HQ in Humlebæk, you will be joining a team of dedicated colleagues within Global IT. Together we ensure ISO 27001 compliance, assess complex risk and security issues and guarantee structured transition from project to operation. Just as we constantly strive to simplify and optimise our global processes.

In a world of digital transformation, where a business’ value is by and large made up from intangible assets, information security and service continuity are essential to our business. To achieve our objectives, we engage with colleagues across the organisation to establish awareness, local ownership as well as compliance through audits.

Maintain and develop our processes
As our senior IT service continuity manager, you will be stepping into a truly global role where you will engage with an array of colleagues across business areas, countries and cultures.

More specifically, you will:

  • Work closely with Information Security and Risk Management, our core IT process managers as well as key stakeholders across the organisation
  • Drive continuity activities through strong processes and recovery planning, as well as by defining and executing awareness programmes throughout the organisation
  • Map our posture against ISO 22301 and drive us towards a certification within business continuity
  • Conduct structured tests and execution of continuity plans
  • Participate in projects and change activities to ensure that services continuity is always factored in
  • Take ownership of our back-end watch rotation recovering from unplanned service outages

Experience with IT service continuity
You naturally take ownership of your tasks, and you are known for your strong commitment to getting the job done. Your interpersonal skills enable you to engage with stakeholders at all levels, advising them on the best cause of action. What is more, you know how to stand your ground when needed.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience with IT operations or IT service management or from having worked with IT infrastructure and systems projects
  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Understand management systems as defined in ISO standards and the compliance aspects associated with these
  • Have worked with tasks related to information security, risk management or IT infrastructure management, preferably within a large international organisation
  • Have a working knowledge of the ITIL concepts, and if you are a certified lead auditor or lead implementer in ISO 22301 and/or ISO 27001 with practical audit experience, this will be a great asset
  • Speak and write English effortlessly
