Senior Financial Controller – Take ownership of business-critical financial topics

Would you like to play a key role in driving high-quality financial control, governance, and technical accounting across an international Group – with flexibility in how you structure your work?

Working on complex and business-critical topics, including audits, IFRS, acquisitions, and financial reporting, you will influence processes, shape best practices, and strengthen governance frameworks and internal controls across the Group.

Join us and build your expertise in a leading international healthcare company dedicated to improving the lives of people with intimate healthcare needs worldwide.

Our Group Controlling and Reporting team is ready to welcome you
At our headquarters in Humlebæk, you will become part of the Group Controlling and Reporting team within Corporate Finance. Here, you will join a close-knit team of seven colleagues who support subsidiaries across the globe and are responsible for reviews, reporting, and controlling activities. We foster a friendly, inclusive, and professional environment where collaboration is strong and new ideas are always welcomed and heard.

Be the key finance partner across the Group
As Senior Financial Controller, you will serve as a key finance partner across the Group, providing expertise within IFRS, technical accounting, financial controlling, and governance.

This entails acting as a subject matter expert on complex accounting areas and being the finance contact towards acquired entities. You will also be the one to strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks.

Specifically, you will:

•    Prepare accounting memorandums, supporting key accounting positions.
•    Act as contact towards external auditors and prepare audit documentation.
•    Own PPA preparation and follow-up in connection with acquisitions.
•    Perform monthly controlling of subsidiaries and key business areas.
•    Execute financial reviews and drive follow-up on identified risks.
•    Handle and prepare annual reports together with the team for both the Group and the parent company.

You combine strong financial expertise with a business-oriented mindset
In this role, you need to have the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, taking ownership of activities and projects as well as engaging and collaborating with stakeholders across functions and geographies. Also, your exceptional business insight and perceptive mindset enable you to effectively organise and prioritise tasks, while identifying practical solutions to complex challenges.

Finally, we imagine that you:

•    Hold an MSc in Business Administration and Auditing (cand.merc.aud.) or a Bachelor of Commerce (HD).
•    Have solid experience from a similar role, for example, as an auditor, financial controller, risk & control consultant, or operational control & compliance manager.
•    May have experience from an accountancy firm, though this is an advantage and not a prerequisite.
•    Possess a deep understanding of financial statements and accounting, including identifying issues and solutions.
•    Have strong knowledge of the technical aspects of IFRS.
•    Are fluent in English.
