Senior Director of Sustainability – Lead our global sustainability agenda
This is your chance to lead our global sustainability agenda and help ensure sustainability becomes a driver of trust, innovation, and long-term competitiveness across the organization.
In a high-impact leadership role, you will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional partners to translate ambitious goals into measurable progress across the full value chain.
And ultimately, you will make a difference to people with intimate health care needs by ensuring stable and responsible sourcing of materials and long-term availability of the products they depend on.
Join a global leadership team
You will join our Global Quality, Regulatory Affairs & Sustainability organization, reporting directly to the SVP of Global Quality, Regulatory Affairs & Sustainability.
Here, you will lead a passionate global sustainability team and collaborate closely with colleagues across Innovation/R&D, Operations, Product Supply, Procurement, Commercial, Finance, and Corporate Communications.
Play a central role in shaping how Coloplast innovates, operates, and grows responsibly
Sustainability is deeply embedded in Coloplast’s strategy, and your work will directly influence how we meet the expectations of users, employees, payers, communities, and investors.
You will spearhead Coloplast’s global sustainability agenda across the full value chain and ensure sustainability remains tightly aligned with business priorities, Impact4 and Coloplast’s corporate strategy. This includes execution and continuous evolution of Coloplast’s global Sustainability Strategy towards 2030 and beyond, ensuring sustainability remains tightly aligned with business priorities, Impact4, and Coloplast’s corporate strategy.
Specifically, you will:
• Strengthen performance across the full value chain, leading major programs within climate, materials, packaging, circularity, sustainable operations, and supplier performance.
• Drive sustainability integration into product innovation, lifecycle management and supply chain operations, ensuring compliance with emerging regulation (e.g., CSRD, EPR, PWR).
• Drive high-quality sustainability reporting and communication, supporting annual sustainability reporting, strengthening internal and external sustainability communication, and representing Coloplast in global sustainability dialogues.
• Lead, develop, and grow the Sustainability organization, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture with strong collaboration across functions and geographies.
• Enable global alignment and cross-functional impact and influence decision-making through robust data, insights, tools, and business cases, ensuring sustainability becomes a natural and value-adding part of how Coloplast innovates, operates, and grows.
A seasoned manager with broad expertise across environmental and social sustainability
As a manager, you are recognized for your ability to set clear direction and inspire people at all levels, fostering cross-functional collaboration and influence without authority. You build trust through transparency, integrity and data-driven insights and navigate complexity with pragmatism, strategy and structure – to ultimately deliver operationally.
Finally, we imagine that you:
• Hold a business school / master’s degree and bring solid experience leading large teams and have proven efficiency, scalability tracks and achievements.
• Have experience driving sustainability transformation in a global, matrixed organization.
• Possess strong knowledge of sustainability regulation, reporting frameworks, and value chain decarbonization.
• Have experience engaging senior leaders and boards on sustainability risks and opportunities.
• Are fluent in English.
