Join a global sustainability team with broad expertise
You will be part of Coloplast's Global Sustainability team, which leads the development and implementation of the company's sustainability strategy and supports the business in delivering on its corporate objectives.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Sustainability, you will work within a team of subject matter experts and collaborate extensively across the organization, particularly with Procurement and Operations, to embed climate considerations into business processes and decision-making.
Lead global carbon accounting and decarbonization initiatives
In this role, you will serve as the process owner for Coloplast's climate strategy and carbon accounting. You will be responsible for translating climate ambitions into action by maintaining and driving the company's decarbonization roadmap, while ensuring a robust, transparent, and audit-ready approach to emissions accounting and data governance.
You will own the global carbon accounting framework, including emissions methodologies, Scope 1, 2, and 3 inventories, and the continuous improvement of data quality, systems, and collection processes.
In addition, you will:
• Act as the central process owner for emissions data and governance, ensuring consistency, transparency, and audit readiness across the organization.
• Partner with functions such as EHS and Procurement to embed climate considerations into business processes, decision-making, and performance management.
• Provide data, analysis, and subject matter expertise to support external disclosures and reporting requirements, including CSRD, CDP, and TCFD.
• Support selected decarbonization initiatives and pilots that strengthen the company's climate performance and capabilities.
• Collaborate with Procurement to ensure supplier-related climate initiatives support the company's overall climate ambitions and targets.
• Contribute to the continued development and maturity of Coloplast's climate agenda through ongoing process, methodology, and capability improvements.
A natural collaborator with experience in carbon accounting
We are looking for a collaborative and pragmatic climate professional who can effectively influence stakeholders across a global matrix organization. You are comfortable working across functions such as Procurement, EHS, Finance, and Operations to drive alignment and deliver results. Combining strong analytical skills with sound business judgement, you can translate complex emissions and sustainability data into actionable insights that support decision-making and advance the company's climate agenda.
To succeed in this role, you:
• Hold a master's degree in environmental management, engineering, sustainability, business, or a related field, and have 5+ years of hands-on experience in carbon accounting, greenhouse gas inventory management, and climate strategy or decarbonization program implementation in a global organization.
• Have strong expertise in the GHG Protocol, including hands-on experience with Scope 1, 2, and 3 accounting methodologies, emissions calculations, and inventory management.
• Have proven experience establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving carbon accounting processes, data collection methodologies, and data quality controls in a structured and scalable way.
• Have experience supporting climate-related frameworks and disclosures such as CDP, CSRD, SBTi, and TCFD, with a strong understanding of the underlying data, methodologies, and governance requirements.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex emissions data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Have solid project management and organizational skills, combined with a pragmatic and execution-oriented approach to delivering results.
• Are skilled at building relationships and influencing stakeholders across functions such as Procurement, EHS, Finance, and Operations.
• Are fluent in English and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with carbon accounting or sustainability data management systems is an advantage
