Senior Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager in Region Europe to pursue our ambitious growth strategy. In this exciting role, you are playing a key role in the implementation of the commercial strategic topics in the region. You are part of the Region Europe leadership team and are working closely with the country management teams to support the execution of the agreed ambition and further identify opportunities for growth. This essential position is a good mix between strategic work and operational support to secure meeting our business targets. In this position you report to the Senior Director Finance Region Europe. The position is based in Denmark.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Drive forward the implementation of the Region Europe strategy to reach our commercial ambition
- Proactively identify new business opportunities in your area of responsibility
- Be a project manager for strategic- and business development projects as an outcome of commercial priorities and business strategies
- Foster close cooperation with country, regional and global management teams to secure excellence in execution
- Be a key sparring partner for the management teams in the subsidiaries
- Develop, implement and follow up diligently on new investment cases, including suggesting corrective action if needed
You come with:
- Master’s degree, preferable with Marketing, Finance or Economics background
- Several years of working experience in analytical roles, preferable within Business Development, Sales and/or Commercial Excellence or as a management consultant
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry in Europe
- Excellent project management skills, including being able to turn a vaguely defined business problem into concrete recommendations
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving competences
- Excellent communication skills to manage different stakeholders
- Strong business acumen and understanding of processes within commercial organizations
- Team player with energetic drive and thriving to move multiple priorities forward by empowering and being empowered
- Energetic and self-driven person with a winning and positive mindset
- High cultural understanding and ability to work with different countries and nationalities
- Fluency in English, additional major European languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel (up to 40%)
