Humlebæk, DK

Job Family:  Supply & Logistics

Are you into planning systems, process optimization and Agile projects? Then we can offer you a unique opportunity to drive developments towards simplified and standardized global planning processes.

In order to ensure the future success and growth of Coloplast, we have initiated a transformation program with the aim of unifying core planning processes globally. We now look for an IT savvy project lead and system specialist to implement standard core processes in our planning system OMP+. We use OMP+ as the backbone for global planning. Successful execution and global use of OMP+ is an imperative part of Coloplast’s Supply Chain strategy. Your role is to lead, and participate in, OMP+ implementations, following Agile principles. Whenever required, you will step into a system specialist role to drive progress.

Join a highly skilled team
Joining global Supply Chain Development at our headquarters in Humlebæk, you will work in a team of specialists and experts from Global Supply Chain and our manufacturing sites to make a sustainable impact on global planning. The position is a part of the Advanced planning system (APS) team and is reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain Development.

“You will step into a global team of well-skilled experts where you have a unique opportunity to join a transformational journey from the start. The role is new, and you will be empowered to influence the way we drive system changes and implementations to create results” says Helle Skøtt, Director of Supply Chain Development.

As our new Project lead, you will play an essential role in laying the foundation for future operational success.

Drive and participate in OMP+ developments
The Planning System Project lead is responsible for the progress of OMP+ developments by:

-    Driving, and participating in, cross-functional projects and initiatives of various sizes. Your role is to lead/coordinate Agile OMP+ projects to secure continuous focus from the project team to deliver results.
-    Contributing to the progress of OMP+ developments and implementations in the role of OMP+ system specialist.

More specifically, you will:

  • Maintain and update OMP+ development portfolio with inputs from the Standardization program and OMP+ road map
  • Work closely with members of the Standardization program to ensure OMP+ system support for developed global core planning processes
  • Plan and secure internal and external resources for projects
  • Lead and drive developments with the APS team, vendors, and relevant stakeholders, using Agile principles and methodology
  • Participate in projects and initiatives with OMP+ system specialist knowledge
  • Step into a specialist role and deliver to the project with OMP+ system- and process expertise when required
  • Train team members in Agile methodology where needed
  • Secure documentation, master data and user instructions are delivered according to the global standards defined by the Standardization program

In the role you will be challenged by handling many stakeholders in a matrix organization. You are expected to work closely with the APS team members and our manufacturing sites. Travelling to our manufacturing sites, mainly in Hungary, will be required occasionally.

Strong System- and stakeholder management skills
We expect you have:

  • A master’s degree within Computer Science, Engineering or similar. Alternatively equivalent work experience.
  • Technically savvy and preferably experience with implementing and developing planning systems. OMP+ experience is not a requirement
  • Experience from driving progress by running projects in the Agile methodology
  • Special interest in Supply Chain planning processes and how to optimize these through standardization and IT systems
  • An interest in understanding details and the capability of stepping into a system specialist role whenever required to drive progress and results
  • An ability to “solve problems”, not only “fix” problems.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferably experience from a similar role, but this is not a requirement
  • Fluent in English.

Finally, you are excited about working with international colleagues and enjoy the flexibility of working across time zones.
