Welcome to Coloplast and Innovation Project Management
Based in our HQ in Humlebæk, you will be joining our R&D Innovation Project Management team, where you will be directing a project portfolio within the Chronic Care business and leading a team of 10 highly skilled innovation project and program managers. The position reports to the VP of Innovation Project Management, a function within RD.
Furthermore, you will become part of our leadership team with 2 other Project Portfolio Directors covering other business areas and a PMO function. You will have responsibility for maintaining and driving your project and program portfolio, ensuring the right mix of technology, early and late stage projects. You will work as a portfolio manager together with your key commercial stakeholders to build road maps, initiate and follow up on progress and guide decisions according to business and strategic priorities. In our leadership team you will gain a solid, trusted network for professional input.
Help to secure business objectives and lead our project manager team to reach their full potential
Your role will be broad. Across business, leadership and functional responsibilities, your task will be to create the foundation for the project managers to fulfil their potential by coaching, mentoring and setting a clear direction and drive the development of your leaders and team. In the capacity of Project Portfolio Manager, you will work with stakeholders to support portfolio progress and set the strategic direction for the portfolio design and follow up on execution and guide our steering groups on taking informed decisions.
Your areas of responsibilities will further cover:
• Ensuring that project management processes including resource management, financial forecasting and reporting and PM ways of working are aligned with Coloplast’s guidelines, procedures and governance, driving perfect and high-quality project execution
• Ensuring focused steering group interactions by supporting and coaching your project managers
• Change management of the continuous improvement initiatives for project, program and portfolio management, ensuring effective alignment with internal business partners to move our organisation forward.
Empathetic leader with extensive R&D project management experience
With a good business acumen, you can combine commercial aspects and technical insights and through that navigate a position where business results, network relations and processes are key. Thus, managing stakeholders on several different levels comes natural to you.
You seek the opposing viewpoint and make an effort to bring new and relevant reflections to the table, challenge status quo and you have a feel for what the future might have in store for us. Also, you base your leadership principles on leading by intent, building on trust, professional know-how and an empathetic mindset.
Furthermore, we imagine that you:
• Have solid experience (+10 years) from a complex and diverse R&D environment working with project and program management, with a proven track record of successful leadership and deliveries
• Have solid business acumen that allows you to set direction on priorities and work closely with commercial stakeholders to form your portfolio
• Have extensive experience working with product development processes as well as a good understanding of manufacturing systems as our colleagues in Global Operation will be your key stakeholders
• Have good experience with leading, coaching, mentoring and developing project managers or leaders
• Have most likely worked within a regulated industry, preferably MedTech or similar
• Speak and write English fluently
