As a Program Manager you will help bring innovation to the market and get complete program ownership of multiple innovation projects, sometimes including technology development, while guiding your core team of Senior Project Managers to success.
Join our Innovation Project Management department
At our HQ in Humlebæk, you will join the Innovation Portfolio Management department consisting of 10+ Program and Project managers. This group is responsible for leading projects across Ostomy Care, Wound & Tissue Repair, Continence Care, and Bowel Care portfolios.
As a member of the Ostomy Care and Wound & Tissue Repair Project Portfolio team, you will be joining a group of currently 4 dedicated Project and Program Managers.
Set clear priorities with a high impact
You will be managing programs of 2-6 innovation projects at a time and lead highly skilled cross functional program/project core teams consisting of Senior Project Managers. Typically, programs can have anything from 10 to 40+ participants. You will typically also function as the lead for one or two of the innovation projects in the programs. This means that you:
• Engage with governance bodies and Portfolio Managers to ensure alignment with BA strategy
• Set clear tactical direction for the programs optimizing value creation and program execution
• Manage interdependencies across projects within the programs
• Ensure synergies in resource usage are optimized across the projects
• Secure that the agreed KPIs are met, and you will apply best program/project management practices to lead and steer the team members safely through all stages of the program/project
• Assure the deliveries follow the Coloplast Development stage gate model
• Carry out stakeholder management and ensure effective communication with all the cross-functional business partners to ensure clarity and satisfaction
• Ensure program/project budgets are diligently maintained and the product manufacturing cost meets business objectives
• Contribute to the Innovation Portfolio Management Department’s continuous improvement initiatives
Experienced program/project manager with a technical background
As you will be leading highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Managers you are expected to have profound leadership and business knowledge and a demonstrated track record for delivering complex programs and projects.
What you bring:
• A BSc. or MSc.in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Technology or equivalent.
• Min. 5 years of proven experience working in complex technical projects.
• At least 5 years of proven experience working with project and/or program management in R&D organizations
• Have min. 5 years experience working with medical devices or in a similar regulated industry.
• Possess excellent networking skills and a proactive approach to collecting knowledge and ensuring personal development
• Can communicate effortlessly in written and spoken English
