Product Manager

Humlebæk, DK

Job Family:  Marketing
Country/Region:  Denmark

Join us to define the future of Ostomy Care products by driving successful global product launches in a leading global Med Tech company.

Make a difference together with us

At our headquarters in Humlebæk, you will join Pipeline & Portfolio team within Innovation unit.  Here, you will become a part of a passionate team of 7 people working within Ostomy Care Product Management, which makes up approx. 40% of Coloplast’s revenue.

We interact with colleagues around the world and across levels and functions, including R&D, sales and marketing. Together, we set the innovation direction, drive global product launches and work to maximise the potential of our Ostomy Care portfolio which makes life easier for people with intimate health care needs.

The Ostomy Care product pipeline consists of innovation within ostomy bags as well as new supporting products. Working alongside other product managers in the team, you will take on your own projects forward and will have an ample opportunity to make your mark and grow your career by leading strategic projects.

Drive the innovation pipeline
You will be responsible for managing the SenSura® Mio portfolio, which is our latest and most innovative brand. There is still much more potential to grow this well-established brand, and you’ll be driving this momentum.

To maximise the potential of the pipeline, you will:

  • Identify and drive key product initiatives that ensure our products reach the markets optimally
  • Function as commercial lead on innovation projects, which includes setting the commercial and strategic direction for launches as well as go-to-market strategies
  • Contribute to the development of competitive product positioning, value drivers and marketing plans in collaboration with Marketing
  • Work closely with local markets to ensure buy-in on innovation direction and the right level of ambition
  • Travel approx. 20 days per year to collaborate face to face with subsidiaries and engage with customers around the world

Let’s hear what Anastasiia Bartalevich, Product Manager in Ostomy Care, has to say about the role:
“For me, the most exciting part about being a product manager in Coloplast is that you get to be a bridge between commercial side and R&D. You are getting daily exposure to colleagues from across the organization. It’s a generalist position in the best sense of this word. And of course, it’s a special kind of joy to see the development of the product from a drawing board and ideation phase all the way to the launch. And as a product manager you have a real mandate to make this process as smooth as possible and as user centric as possible.”

A commercial mindset and a flair for data analysis
Although we have support functions working to provide you with the right data, it is important that you have a natural flair for working with it too, connecting the dots and translating them into commercial solutions and action plans.

You have a commercial mindset and are still keen to learn more and challenge yourself by continuously setting yourself new goals. You thrive when working with ambiguity in a dynamic environment with many stakeholders and enjoy collaborating and communicating creatively to engage colleagues in your ideas.

You most likely:

  • Hold a commercial master’s degree
  • Have 2+ years of experience within global, local or strategic marketing or from a market-oriented commercial function
  • Are adept at managing cross-organisational projects to ensure commercial impact in our subsidiaries globally
  • Are fluent in English
  • Have proven track record with product management is an advantage
  • Have experience within the health care or medical device industry or a similarly regulated field – it is however not a must
  • Have international experience – though it is not a must

If you would like to know more about the position, please contact Axelle Bautz, Senior Director, PM Ostomy Care, at We will take candidates into the recruitment process continuously so do not hesitate to apply. This position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.
