Ambitious digital and technology agenda at the center of Coloplast’s new 5-year strategy
Coloplast, one of the world’s leading med-tech companies, just launched a new 5-year strategy called Impact4. The strategy includes significant investments into two new transformational technology programs aimed at delivering next-level user experiences for chronic patients and driving up scalability within global manufacturing.
We call this ‘Impact through technology’, and to deliver on the ambitious targets, we will be looking for 40+ new colleagues for our Digital, Data & IT organization over the next 18 months. If you want to be part of this digital transformation and make a lasting impact, then this might be the next career move for you!
You will own the frontend architecture on our Chronic Care program
Working at our HQ in Humlebæk, you will be responsible for frontend development related to our Chronic Care program within eCommerce & Digital Solutions. You will help shape the digital roadmap needed to support the program and ensure high-quality code delivery – either hands-on or by coaching developers.
An essential part of your role will be to collaborate closely with international stakeholders from Chronic Care, Branding & Design, and with product owners to ensure that all project features (we use Figma for our design) are built according to our technical standards and are ready for development and global use.
You will also:
- Set the technical direction for frontend development with other development leads
- Prevent technical debt while delivering new features
- Lead major rewrites and refactorings
- Ensure optimal user experience and accessibility compliance according to EAA and ADA
- Align with backend leads to ensure seamless integration
- Keep frontend packages secure and up to date
- Co-own the design system for Chronic Care, ensuring brand consistency and reusable components
Highly experienced frontend developer with an eye for scalability, UX and accessibility
You excel at handling very large and complex codebases within the framework of a highly regulated industry, and you enjoy staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the frontend development space.
At the same time, you excel at conveying technical challenges to non-technical audiences, enabling you to participate in technical discussions with other stakeholders of varying technical skill levels – always keeping the end-user and user experience top of mind.
To do so, we imagine that you bring:
- 10+ years of experience with general frontend development with TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS and HTML
- Extensive experience using Vue.js as a frontend framework
- A deep understanding of web development on a global scale, with all the challenges it brings
- Extensive experience leading other frontend developers on large development teams
- A keen eye for visual design and UX, always taking accessibility into account
