Planning Manager – support Coloplast’s continued growth
Would you like to make your mark on the growth of our organisation by facilitating an understanding of our productive capacity? And do you want to join a team of great colleagues?
Working with global planning processes, you ensure superior delivery performance and help create a more effective and reliable value chain. By doing so, you directly support our growth and impact our ability to deliver products.
“It’ll be a steep learning curve, but you’ll have a lot of exposure to management and a wide impact as you help us uncover the best ways to plan, so we can keep moving forward,” says Jesper Brodersen, your future manager.
A truly tight-knit team of planning experts
You will join our Sales and Operations Planning team at our HQ in Humlebæk, Denmark. Here, you will be warmly welcomed by close colleagues who collaborate daily to explore capacity, shape our planning practices, and make global supply chain decisions that ensure continued progress within Coloplast.
As a team, we thus play a key role in making critical decisions that impact our global capacity and manufacturing footprint, encompassing manufacturing sites and product brands. Additionally, we are responsible for establishing global inventory targets, steering the global inventory governance process, and driving our global manufacturing footprint process.
“It’s a very social team; their collaboration is great. If someone faces an obstacle, we have each other’s backs – so there’s always someone to reach out to for help,” Jesper explains.
Match production setup and inventory needs
As a planning manager, you will be working on various projects, ensuring that we have a sound and solid foundation for our future investments and development. You do this by creating a balance between demand and inventory when planning our production capacity.
More specifically, you will be looking at the current production setup and machine investment needs, which you then use to optimise and align our production plans with our inventory needs. Doing so, you will work closely with various stakeholders, combining analysis and planning into airtight business cases.
Your key tasks include:
• Aligning your plans with leaders at manufacturing sites across the globe and travel up to 20 days a year
• Making sure we have the right machine setup and building business cases related to transfers, machine, and manufacturing investments
• Engaging in development projects where you drive capacity transparency and ensure timely investments to secure successful launches
• Identifying and mitigating capacity risks that impact delivery performance, launches, and transfers.
You are a collaborative and curious planning professional
Working closely with colleagues who value teamwork, you will need to share our belief in collaboration and be eager to pitch in and share your ideas and knowledge. Moreover, you will need to excel at stakeholder management and know how to navigate a project organisation where you work across functions and cultures.
We also imagine that you:
• Have a couple of years of experience with supply chain proceses, ssales and ooperations planning or distribution
• Have a degree in production, supply chain management or similar
• Are adept at analysis
• Have a sound business understanding
• Speak and write English effortlessly
