Medical Affairs Project Manager for Development of Clinical Strategies 

In this highly business-critical role you will drive the clinical strategy for one of our next level innovation projects supporting our ambition of developing clinically differentiated products.


Together, we define and deliver the clinical strategy
You will join our high-performing team consisting of project managers, biostatisticians, data managers and medical writers. The department is part of a newly established Innovation Unit and we are responsible for defining the clinical pipeline and strategic plan of activities generating evidence and delivering strong clinical data for Market Access and Market uptake.


You take on a strategic role
As a project manager you will be engaged in a dynamic environment of people and tasks, and you will be leading the clinical strategy track. Depending on the scope of the project, your team track may consist of one or more clinical managers, a statistician, medical writer, and a data manager. The responsibility of the track is to prepare and execute clinical strategies in time and manner and providing strategic scientific and clinical advice as well as publications and other clinical documentation. 


Alignment with R&D, Marketing, Market Access, and the Medical Affairs leadership team is a crucial responsibility of the job and it is key that you can work and communicate with people at different levels in the organization from senior management to core team members. 


Your key responsibilities will be to:


  • Lead the clinical strategy track in the project by defining a strategic plan of clinical activities needed for R&D, Regulatory, Market Access and Market uptake purposes
  • Involve and align activities with critical stakeholders throughout the project
  • Ensure the execution of activities in time and manner and within pre-defined budget
  • Keep Management in Medical Affairs updated on progress of activities. 
  • Give input to strategic, regulatory, and operational documentation
  • Assess potential risks in the clinical strategy and prepare mitigations


Pragmatic mindset and clinical experience 
We are looking for an ambitious person with a pragmatic mindset to drive projects forward and who can challenge and find new ways of operating. You have a strong scientific background capable of enhancing the evidence level in different areas. Furthermore, we expect you to have thorough understanding of the clinical process and knowledge of guidelines and regulations within clinical research.


Moreover, you bring


  • Adequate experience as project manager and/or team manager within the medical field
  • Experience within clinical development, clinical project management, medical affairs, or medical marketing focused on communicating and reporting clinical outcomes
  • Experience with external networking and handling external parties and KOLs 
  • Experience in working with international, cross border team(s) and/or organizations 
  • Experience with biomedical research and solid knowledge of clinical and statistical methodology 
  • Ability to create overview and results in a complex and high demanding working environment
  • Great persistency and a sense of authority 
  • A relevant master’s degree 
  • Great communication skills in both written and spoken English
