MES Specialist for our global operations digitalization

Location:

Humlebæk, DK

Job Family:  Manufacturing
Country/Region:  Denmark

At Coloplast, we are on an ambitious journey to standardize and digitize our global manufacturing setup.

As part of our newly launched 5-year strategy, Impact4, we are driving a “New Digital Wave” across Global Operations. And you will play a key role in making it happen, contributing to a strategic agenda where Global Operations MES, OT infrastructure and AI are key focus areas.

We guarantee a portfolio of interesting and varied tasks where no two days are alike – as you ultimately contribute to improving the lives of people with intimate healthcare needs.

Step into our Operations Excellence function
Based in Humlebæk, Denmark, you will be part of our Digitalization Core team. Our scope is global, and we work closely with the IT organization and various teams at our manufacturing sites in China, Hungary, Costa Rica, soon in Portugal, and more. Primarily, we focus on OT infrastructure and applications, the Global Operations Manufacturing Execution System (TrakSYS), and label print. And over time, we also expect AI to play a key role.

Help Design our end-to-end MES and work hands-on with TrakSYS MES
Historically, Coloplast has embraced site-specific solutions, but we have decided that now is the time to embark on the exciting standardization and digitalization journey. And you will contribute to the continued development and rollout of our TrakSYS MES templates, ensuring stable operations through troubleshooting and problem management along the way.

Specifically, you will:

  • Develop TrakSYS templates, documenting business requirements, configuring TrakSYS,  aligning with the lead configuration role. Moreover, you will validate changes through OQ/SIT testing, support PQ/UAT testing and documentation, and ensure adoption through training.
  • Participate in global rollout and deployment activities, verifying that global templates support business requirements, process standardization, and preparing TrakSYS for implementation in new value streams/production lines.
  • Handle problem management and troubleshooting, providing 2nd level support for  incidents, as well as maintaining documentation and capturing learnings from troubleshooting cases.
  • Travel to sites during workshops, rollouts and support go-live activities on-site.
  • Represent the Global Operations & Digitalization team during implementations.
  • Support module design and maintenance together with module owners.

Experience working with MES platforms and rollouts
In this role, you need to be well-organized and a self-starter with a detail-oriented mindset. Moreover, you use your strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to energize your team and achieve organizational goals.

Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar, combined with proven experience working with MES platforms across multiple domains (maybe within MedTech, Pharma, or other regulated environments).
  • Have experience with end-to-end MES rollouts, including ownership of modules, training, and adoption, and a strong understanding of MES configuration and validation processes.
  • Have an expert-level understanding of ISA-95 standards and related manufacturing operations standards in regulated environments.
  • Are able to debug issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
