Creative Senior Design Manager

In this role, you help us making our Coloplast mission and brand come to life, ensuring our visual identity is clear and our execution is best-in-class.
 
Drive our visual identity and empower the organization
You will join us at our HQ in Humlebæk as part of the Branding & Design team consisting of our talented and dedicated design project managers, digital design manager, brand manager and you will work closely with our graphic designers and DTP specialists in Poland. 
You will inspire and raise the standard for all our visual communication. You will make it come to life thru foundational guideline work and you will lead creative productions and work closely with relevant agencies and suppliers on photo, film, illustration, graphic design, animations, and 3D. 
 
As our new Senior Design Manager your goal will be to ensure that we have a strong and clear visual identity and continue to evolve our digital engagement with our customers. Apart from working closely with the team, you will also work closely with our marketing and communication teams as well as corporate functions to realize our ambitions. You have the ability to switch between the systematic dynamics behind a corporate CVI and creative innovative on-brand executions.

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Define, maintain and constantly push the standards of our corporate visual identity guidelines and principles and work closely with the head of Branding & Design to shape our long-term visual brand and storytelling.
  • Empower the organization to own & understand the visual identity of the brand by providing clear guidelines across all channels. 
  • Inspire and guide the team and organization in the field of creative development as well as oversee design projects on key deliveries
  • Work with and onboard new agencies to our portfolio of international suppliers
  • Create and optimize processes and guidelines for production setups and creative concept development
  • Have a hands-on approach to the work be able to visualize, define and share your vision in a clear manor.
  • To be a great team player and contribute to raise the overall team performance in our area of expertise.

 
Right now, travel activity is limited, but the role will involve some travel to oversee productions.
 
You know what great design looks like 
Your trained eye for excellent design and your ability to engage a global organization will take you far in this position. Moreover, you know how to realize your sky-high visual identity ambitions into concrete solutions that can be successfully implemented.

 

We imagine that you:

  • Know how to set a creative direction, including developing and implementing guidelines and templates– perhaps from your experience as an art/creative director, senior graphic designer, design manager, head of design or similar
  • Have experience working with or in global corporate organizations, so you know how to collaborate successfully and with excitement within a complex stakeholder network
  • Have experience working with external creative suppliers, from setting the team, creating the brief, making budget/timeline agreements to overseeing production and post-production
