As a Scientific Manager, you will be at the forefront of our mission, contributing to important new projects and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of clinical excellence. Drive Innovation in Medical Devices
Become part of a great team of 10 dedicated colleagues in Scientific Affairs. We work closely together and contribute to the exciting process of developing and enhancing medical devices, along with the crucial clinical regulatory evidence that is needed to obtain regulatory approvals. As we continuously expand and improve our product range, we need your expertise to take charge of preparing and updating clinical regulatory documentation, while providing invaluable clinical and scientific insights into our innovation projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Craft or update comprehensive documents such as literature review reports, clinical evaluation reports, and design validation reports.
• Serve as the clinical/scientific expert within project groups, offering critical input to various documents and decisions.
• Develop robust documentation to support clinical claims.
• Collaborate and communicate with multiple departments at Coloplast.
• Assist Vigilance with handling clinical complaints, conducting medical assessments, and preparing input for Periodic Safety Update Reports/Post Market Surveillance Reports.
Knowledgeable within Clinical Research
As a communicative and collaborative professional, you thrive on the prospect of working with diverse teams across the Coloplast organisation to drive evidence-based product development. Your passion for writing comprehensive reports, providing insightful input to various documents and decisions, and handling ad hoc tasks is matched by your experience in clinical research.
Your innate curiosity propels you to dive deep into literature research, analyse vast amounts of information, and distill the essence to share with your team/project or incorporate into relevant reports.
Your Qualifications:
• +3 years of experience as a medical writer, clinical scientist, scientific specialist, or similar role in clinical research.
• Preferably, experience in the medical device industry or pharma, with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements, research methodologies, databases, and GCP.
• A master’s degree or higher in medical or health sciences.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple ongoing activities.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
