Industrial Designer - Bring the User's Voice to Life
Humlebæk, DK

Do you want to see your ideas come to life, bridging unmet user needs with aesthetics, craftsmanship, and purposeful design?
At Coloplast, we create products for people living with deeply personal medical conditions. As part of our Product Design & Engineering team, you’ll help shape the future of intimate healthcare by designing solutions that are intuitive, accessible, and impactful.
Our products are produced in the millions, which is why we focus on seamlessly integrating technology, enhancing usability, and delivering a user-friendly look and feel. Every design decision is grounded in real user needs, ensuring our solutions not only function beautifully but also make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Craft Meaningful Design with Purpose and Innovation
As an Industrial Designer, you’ll work in cross-functional teams from early discovery through to design hand-off, typically across one to two projects at a time. You’ll lead the industrial design process, balancing form, function, and aesthetics with a deep understanding of user experience. Your work will shape emotionally resonant and viable solutions that improve lives.
You’ll be surrounded by passionate colleagues who challenge each other to think deeper, push boundaries, and continuously evolve our design language. Whether sketching in the studio, testing with users, or collaborating with engineers, we stay grounded in our mission: to create products that restore dignity and empower users.
Through sketches and prototypes, you’ll explore and refine ideas, bringing concepts to life in ways that foster strong connections with users. Working closely with usability and insights teams, you’ll uncover and define user needs and pain points, translating them into clear, actionable design directions.
With a strong understanding of emerging technologies, you’ll find innovative ways to integrate them into both the design and development process. You’ll also shape design frameworks, user journeys, and strategic direction in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Throughout, you’ll guide conversations across disciplines to ensure alignment and coherence in the design vision.
We’re looking for a designer who combines creativity with strategic thinking.
- A degree in Industrial Design or a related field—ideally with an in-depth knowledge in service design
- Experience in creative environments that foster innovative, out-of-the-box thinking
- A strong sense of form and expertise in applying colors, materials, and finishes (CMF)
