Head of technical Salesforce team

Location:

Humlebæk, DK

Job Family:  Information Technology
Country/Region:  Denmark

Do you want to take part in our ambitious Salesforce implementation journey? And are you motivated   by the chance to influence the solution which will play an important role for our future strategic initiatives?

In Coloplast, we are in the exciting process of rolling out Salesforce.com globally. Currently, we are live in 30 countries with 3500+ users, and even more are to come. So this is not just a sales or CRM system – this is THE system. And we use it to ultimately make life easier for people with intimate health care needs.

Welcome to Coloplast and the Salesforce division

From our HQ in Humlebæk, you will be joining our CRM and Commercial Solutions division, anchored in our Global IT unit. Here, 3 teams with more than 80 committed and skilled colleagues across IT and business, a perfect mix of internal and external consultants, work every day to deliver a best-in-class CRM & commercial solution – with a solid focus on our global Salesforce implementation.

“We work in a top priority program surrounded by extremely skilled colleagues, who strive to do a little bit better every day, having fun along the way – and when you also get to make a difference for people with health care issues, it is really the best place to work,” says Senior Director Kristina Søndberg.

You will also join our CRM program management team, where we set strategy and directions according to the global Coloplast vision.

While it would be most optimal for you to be located in Denmark – relatively close to Humlebæk – we are open to you being based outside of Denmark, as long as you are able to visit about 50% of the time.

Head an ambitious and technical specialised team

As head of one of our Salesforce teams, your overall responsibility is to ensure optimal guidance and motivation for the 6-7 specialised team members – ensuring that we do all we can to keep our skilled employees. Doing so, you will ensure that the team has the needed competences while building a business-enabling and scalable Salesforce platform.

In addition, you will also be responsible for the externally sourced support team, working closely with business analysts, product owners, architects, and developers.

We currently have 2 open positions for 2 different teams, so depending on your area of expertise and motivation, you will be heading a team that focuses either on solutions or architecture. In both positions however, you will more specifically be:

  • Overall responsible for setting the direction and drive the road map set for the team
  • Ensuring competence development of your team, both individually and on a team level
  • Responsible for securing that the development of the solution is done according to technical corner flags and architecture
  • Optimising features, tests and regression tests
  • Collaborating with vendors and ensuring that they live up to Coloplast standards
  • Participating in steering committees, business prioritisation meetings and workgroups

“In short, your work will enable the Coloplast solutions and futureproof our CRM effort – by ensuring that the development and scalability amounts to growth and ultimately value,” Kristina continues.

Leadership experience, technical mindset and people skills

With your strong people and leadership skills combined with a solid business acumen, you can navigate between business needs and individual coaching. You also understand that development and motivation is needed to ensure employee satisfaction and hence keeping skilled people at a crucial time.

As a skilled stakeholder manager, you can adapt your communication to all professional levels – top management and developers alike – and use your technical flair to convey complex issues on a more approachable level. And you know when to stand your ground, when to push back, and when to be pragmatic.

Moreover, we imagine that you have:

  • A relevant education, e.g. an MSc in economics and business administration with strong IT competencies – or a master’s in IT management or similar
  • Extensive experience with implementing global CRM solutions and integrations – preferably Salesforce
  • Experience with developing and supporting global solutions
  • A consultancy mindset and strong communication skills (both verbal, written and in presentations)
  • Some years of people management experience
  • Complex stakeholder management experience
