Would you like to play a key role in strengthening commercial performance across a diverse international business, combining financial insight, commercial excellence, and cross-regional collaboration?

 

Commercial Finance & Commercial Excellence partners closely with regional commercial leaders, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and local market teams to improve forecasting, reporting, performance visibility, and commercial execution. In this role, you will take a leading position in supporting our WTR business area across key international markets, including China, Canada, Greece, India, South Africa, and Brazil.

 

As Head of Commercial Finance & Commercial Excellence, you will help shape stronger decision-making, improve consistency across markets, and enable scalable commercial processes that support sustainable growth.

 

Your Role
You will take on a highly business-facing role, acting as a trusted partner to the WTR international organisation while strengthening financial planning, commercial insights, and performance management. This role offers a unique opportunity to work hands-on with the business to:


• Support commercial performance and growth across international WTR markets
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking across geographies
• Strengthen commercial excellence through better tools, processes, and governance
• Translate financial and commercial data into clear, actionable business insights

 

You will proactively engage with stakeholders across the organisation, identify opportunities, and continuously improve how we plan, report, and execute across markets.

The team
You will join the WTR international organization, working closely with regional commercial leaders, Finance, Sales, and Marketing across multiple markets. In addition, Finance and Commercial Excellence colleagues in selected countries report dotted-line to this role, creating a strong network of close collaboration, professional sparring, and shared learning across the region.
A small team of commercial excellence managers report directly to the role.

 

Key responsibilities
• Act as commercial finance and commercial excellence lead for WTR international markets
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking across countries
• Analyze financial and commercial results and translate them into actionable insights for leadership
• Develop and maintain standardized dashboards, KPIs, and reporting to improve visibility and decision-making
• Support cross-regional collaboration, process improvement, and commercial excellence initiatives across markets

 

You can look forward to travel around approx. 30-40 days annually.

 

 

What you bring
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded leader who thrives in an international environment and is motivated by creating impact through insight, collaboration, and structure.


• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or similar
• 5–10+ years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or related roles
• Strong financial modelling, analytical, and data visualization skills, including Excel and BI tools
• Experience working across international markets or global organisations is an advantage

• Proactive and collaborative, with the ability to work across countries, cultures, and time zones
• Strong business curiosity and a drive to improve performance and processes
• Clear communicator who can engage both local teams and global leadership
