Evidence Manager

Evidence Managers for Evidence & Adoption, Medical Affairs

Do you want to generate and disseminate  new knowledge and evidence to create solutions helping people with intimate health issues around the globe? Join us and play a key role in driving the adoption of our solutions and ensure that it is based on evidence and the experiences of the medical professionals that take care of our users.

“This is a great position if you want to make a difference. You can really make an impact on people’s lives through the projects you drive, and you’ll have the perfect mix of passioned colleagues and a strong organisation to support you,” Iben Plate, Director, Evidence & Adoption, explains.

Welcome to Evidence & Adoption
You will be a part of the Coloplast Evidence &Adoption team located in Humlebæk, Denmark. We are responsible for supporting the organisation with our highly specialised knowledge and for shaping the clinical ambition of our business to increase the relevance of our existing and new products and services.

We are a diverse team of 13 highly experienced specialists who enjoy working together and are proud of the quality we deliver to our customers and the rest of the organisation.

“I really value that we have in our team such different personal and professional backgrounds. Because we do not think exactly alike, we move forward,” Iben continues.

Support us with your expertise to help us improve standard of care for our users
You will be responsible for your own standard of care projects as the clinical/medical lead. You will continuously keep yourself up to date on the newest knowledge and literature within your field to support Coloplast projects. An important part of your job is to share the evidence you find with relevant stakeholders in R&D, Market Access, Marketing, the Health Care Professional Engagement team and our subsidiaries.

You will gain the evidence from e.g. peer-reviewed literature, lab tests, market research and the consensus studies we drive with our Key Opinion Leaders (KOL). These doctors and nurses are invaluable as they provide the input we need to develop solutions addressing the real clinical need of our users, so it is crucial that you maintain a close collaboration with them.

Around 30 days a year, you will travel to educate your colleagues and participate in medical congresses and meetings where you ensure KOL involvement and conduct and support or present clinical publications, presentations, posters or symposia.

Moreover, some of your main tasks will be to:

  • Analyse evidence and support different parts of the organisation with your knowledge
  • Create partnerships with KOLs and other health care professionals
  • Participate in innovation, market development and commercial projects – sometimes as the project manager
  • Review investigator-initiated study proposals within your field
  • Support Coloplast subsidiaries with clinical guidance

A health care specialist with a commercial mentality and project management experience
You enjoy communicating and cooperating with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders and are good at involving them in your shared projects.
Even though your curiosity makes it natural for you to absorb yourself in the subject, you are also able to work at the pace and with the commercial flair needed in a big company. Working with continuous development like we do also means that there can be a high degree of ambiguity at times, and you can see yourself in such an environment.

Professionally, you:

  • Probably have a master’s degree within health care (pharmacy, medicine), life sciences (molecular biology, microbiology) or similar – a PhD is an asset, but not a requirement
  • Have some years of experience with health care marketing, medical marketing, biotech/pharma, clinical development and/or project management
  • Have working experience from a big company within medical technology
  • Speak and write English fluently, Danish is not a requirement

Are you ready to make a difference with us?
