Director, QA Competence Centre – shape our global quality agenda
This is your chance to drive strategic decisions that support innovation and patient safety.
Join Coloplast and get the opportunity to guide experienced managers and highly specialized teams.
This is not just a leadership role – it is an opportunity to shape the future of quality while helping make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs.
Join our global Quality Competence Centre
From our HQ in Humlebæk, you will lead the Quality Competence Centre, an international organization of approximately 45 employees across Denmark, Hungary and Poland. Supported by 3 experienced managers reporting directly to you, you will foster collaboration and development across the teams.
You will also become part of our Global Quality Leadership Team, working alongside the leaders of QA Innovation Value Stream, QA Lifecycle Management, Consumer Products and QA Compliance. Together, you will shape the strategic direction of Global Quality and influence enterprise-wide decisions across Coloplast.
Develop managers and mobilize the organization
Reporting to the VP of Global Quality, you will play a key role in developing both the Global Quality organization and its leadership capabilities. Beyond ensuring that the Quality Competence Centre has the right competencies, you will create conditions for managers and specialists to thrive, collaborate and deliver high-impact results across functions, countries and business areas.
A central part of the role is to engage and mobilize stakeholders across R&D, Operations, Procurement and Regulatory Affairs, building commitment around shared quality objectives and strategic priorities. Through strong leadership and influence, you will align diverse perspectives, enable qualified decision-making and create momentum behind critical initiatives.
Enable innovation and accelerate value creation
Your responsibility spans the entire product lifecycle, from supporting the development of innovative medical devices to ensuring the continued compliance and maintenance of legacy products. In doing so, you will help shape quality processes and capabilities that not only safeguard patient safety and regulatory compliance, but also enable faster development cycles, robust technical solutions and speed to market for new innovations.
You will be expected to challenge existing ways of working, simplify decision processes where possible, and ensure that quality becomes a strategic enabler of innovation.
You will, for example, be responsible for:
- Leading the Quality Competence Centre across Denmark, Hungary and Poland through your three direct-report managers
- Setting the strategic direction for Sterilization, Microbiology, Supplier Quality, Biosafety and Chemical Compliance
- Steering supplier quality management reviews together with Direct Procurement
- Ensuring resources are available to support internal and external audits while monitoring and reporting departmental performance
Travelling internationally approximately 20 days per year
An inspiring leader who develops people, leaders and partnerships
You are an experienced leader of leaders who create engagement, motivation and followership in complex international environments. You have a proven ability to inspire teams through change, develop leadership capability and empower experts to perform at their best. You naturally build strong relationships across stakeholder groups and are skilled at creating alignment where priorities, perspectives and interests may differ. Through influence, collaboration and strategic leadership, you create alignment and ensure effective execution of key decisions. You are motivated by developing people, strengthening organizational capability and creating the conditions that allow innovation to flourish while maintaining the standards of quality and patient safety.
Furthermore, we imagine that you:
- Have extensive experience within Quality Management
- Have at least 5 years of people management experience, including leading managers
