Development Manager within Global Supply Chain

Join a highly skilled team
Joining our global Supply Chain Development team at our headquarters in Humlebæk, you will work with 12 colleagues to make a sustainable impact on global supply chain processes. We do so by driving projects and initiatives to optimize supply chain processes and systems in close partnership with our operational supply chain functions located around the world.

Develop and optimize systems and processes
You will participate in or drive small- and midsized global supply chain optimization projects. In doing so, you will cooperate closely with local supply chain functions, Global IT, manufacturing sites and more before, during and after implementation. 
 

Starting off, you will typically work on 1-2 projects at a time. which may have to do with development of existing IT planning systems, warehouse models, flow analysis etc. Regardless of the aim of the project, you continuously keep a focus of how to improve processes and increase standardization across the regions. Specifically, you will:
 

•    Develop models and conduct analysis of operational, tactical or strategic challenges and recommend next steps 
•    Drive all phases of global projects of different size and duration from scoping through execution and handover to line of business
•    Drive change management activities, including training, creation of work instructions and support to the global supply community
•    Engage with stakeholders at all levels


Depending on the projects you will get the possibility to travel.


Strong project and stakeholder management skills and supply chain understanding
As a person, you have experience in optimizing Supply Chain systems and processes and you are curious, enthusiastic and open to new input as you create, test and present new scenarios. 
With your structured approach and persistency, you drive your assignments independently all the way to the finish line, even through obstacles. We expect you have:
 

•    A master’s degree within supply chain management, engineering, data science/analytics or similar.
•    A proven track record from delivering results in a similar role for a couple of years.
•    Special interest in designing and implementing IT solutions.
•    Strong skills in conceptualizing ideas and translate these into implementable projects.
•    Experience with change management, including definition of future governance models and adoption of initiatives with global stakeholders.
•    Excellent stakeholder management skills.
•    You are fluent in English.
