Strategic Alignment, Business Partnering, and Program Leadership


As an IT Business Partner for Acute Care & GBS, you will:

 

  • Translate business strategies into clear, accountable DD&IT outcomes, ensuring organizational commitment to shared priorities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, managing DD&IT portfolios and leading programs within the BU/Function.
  • Build strong relationships with governance bodies, executives, and external vendors, effectively communicating the benefits and priorities of DD&IT initiatives.
  • Champion future-oriented solutions, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure DD&IT investments deliver measurable business value.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure business strategies are translated into measurable DD&IT outcomes and organizational commitment to shared goals.
  • Business Partnering: Own the success of the DD&IT business partnership with Acute Care BU and GBS function. Including, advise relevant EVP and senior leadership, manage intake and prioritization of business requests, and coordinate with portfolio and delivery teams on behalf of the business.
  • Portfolio and Program Management: Lead portfolio and programs within the BU/function, define scope and success metrics, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with senior stakeholders and manage governance bodies, communicate value propositions, and lead change management efforts.
  • Organizational Enablement & Change Leadership: Set program direction, empower project managers, and act as a change agent for digital transformation.

 

Key Stakeholders

  • Internal: Business Unit Leaders, DD&IT Leadership Teams, EVP for the assigned Function, Corporate Function Leaders (HR, Finance, Legal, Compliance).
  • External: Technology Vendors & Managed Service Providers.

 

Geographic Responsibility
Ensure global scalability of solutions, involve global stakeholders, and demonstrate a strong global mindset.
Engagement with key stakeholders will require worldwide travel (10–20 days per year).Note that Acute Care LT is located across US, Iceland and Denmark which will require flexibility to accommodate key stakeholders’ changing time zones of between CET –7 and CET Business Representation is currently located in Denmark, and we are therefore looking for a candidate located in Humlebæk, Denmark.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, IT, Engineering).
  • 8+ years’ experience in project or program management or as a leader in IT/business, with a proven ability to deliver complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Success in business partnering and engaging senior executives to shape strategic roadmaps.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise governance frameworks and program management standards.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong strategic mindset and executional rigour.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, including QA and GxP, within a global context is an advantage.
  • Strong business acumen and financial understanding.
