Our Advanced Wound Dressings (AWD) business is on an exciting profitable growth journey, which we are looking to accelerate further with our upcoming 2030 strategy. To help deliver on this ambition, we are looking for a Commercial Excellence Manager to join the global Commercial Development team in the business unit.

 

About the role 
As Commercial Excellence Manager, you will join a dynamic, high-performing Commercial Development team. You will be working in an international setting with lots of interaction with global stakeholders and you will be responsible for driving high-impact commercial projects across the entire AWD business. The projects are diverse and involve stakeholders from all levels of the organization. Depending on the project, you are expected to work independently or as part of a team.


The projects delivered by this team are diverse based on business needs, and typically anchored in our markets. Examples of projects include annual business planning, preparing growth cases, elevating our commercial execution across affiliates, developing go-to-market models, market expansion activities, strategy implementation, etc.


You should expect high pace and an accelerated learning curve! Our team members often move on to new exciting opportunities within the organization. To be successful in this role, it is essential that you enjoy working in a matrix organization with a multitude of stakeholders. You need strong communication skills, respect cultural sensitivities and have an ability to get people to work with you.

 

Your responsibilities

•    Lead high-impact commercial projects such as investment cases and commercial plans
•    Deliver key frontline effectiveness projects such as customer segmentation and targeting, incentive structure projects, etc.
•    Take part in strategy implementation projects
•    Facilitate best practice sharing in the ComEx functions working in our affiliates across the world
•    Support market intelligence collection and activation
•    Up to 30-50 travel days annually can be expected

Professional qualifications 
We believe the ideal candidate has the following competencies:

•    Master’s degree, preferably in business, economics, finance or related field
•    Strong analytical toolbox and commercial understanding
•    Solid problem-solving and communication skills
•    Strong project management skills 
•    Super user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint – experience with PowerBI is an advantage
•    2-5 years’ work experience from either corporate/commercial development functions or management consulting
•    Critical thinker with good problem-solving skills
•    Excellent English skills, Danish is not required
