Coloplast Strive Graduate within our Technical Track

Are you ready to kick-start your global career in a world-leading MedTech company?

As our new graduate within our technical track, you will spend the next two years exploring your own talents while making a true business impact. From there, the sky is the limit for your Coloplast career.

Your career starts here

Coloplast Strive is a 2-year graduate programme for those striving for an accelerated global career within the MedTech industry. We offer various tracks across the value chain with a stimulating learning journey, all while contributing to making life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs.

The programme consists of two exciting 12 month rotations within our Headquarters, one being in your home area and the other one being in another function. During this time, we guarantee that you’ll get to dive into your field of interest, take on key responsibilities and see the results of your work.

After completing the programme, you can look forward to continuing your journey with us on a permanent contract.

Welcome to R&D

Starting no later than September 1st, 2022, you’ll spend the first 12 months of the programme in Coloplast’s R&D department at our HQ in Humlebæk, Denmark. Here, you will join the Materials Department, and we are responsible for defining, developing, and evaluating materials for new product solutions in Ostomy Care, Continence Care, and Wound & Skin Care.

In our team, we have many of the best polymer chemists and material scientists in Denmark (if not the world). We are curious, supportive, and excited about what we do. Team collaboration is a cornerstone in how we work in Materials, and you will be sure to learn a lot from us. A senior scientist mentor will support you in your new position.

After completing the first half of the programme, you will have the opportunity to rotate to another exciting area of the business within our HQ, joining either the Project Management or Sustainability team or moving into a Quality related function (e.g. the Sterilisation team). With your skills and interests in mind, we will find the perfect role for you to complete your graduate programme.

Key position responsibilities include:

  • Work in project teams to bring new material solutions to the table. Your mentor will ensure that you get to contribute.
  • Collaborate with our technical staff to get data from the laboratory, and learn about our products, test methods, and processes from their vast experience.
  • With support from our specialists, document your work to the high standards needed for medical device development.
  • Present your work to your peers and management to make sure that we progress to the next project gate and ultimately towards the launch of a brand new Coloplast product.

We are looking for top Master’s or Bachelor’s graduates worldwide who:

  • Have a strong performance track record in terms of grades and experience
  • Skilled within Polymer Chemistry (university training/courses is sufficient)
  • Have between 0-3 years of work experience post-graduation
  • Are hungry and passionate to drive and achieve business results
  • Are curious and eager to learn, contribute and work in teams
  • Have experience living and working in different cultures
  • Are mobile and flexible with a desire and capacity to rotate between departments
  • Are motivated to join a growing, innovative company
  • Are fluent in English (other languages a plus)
  • Live our values and want to make a difference for people facing intimate medical conditions
