Biostatistician

Biostatistician 

Our newly established Innovation Unit is looking for a statistician who can continue to develop, strengthen, and secure high quality of data and methodological principles. You will participate in planning, analyses and reporting of clinical trials from our wide range of exciting development projects.

 

Together, we define and deliver the clinical strategy and evidence
You will join our department consisting of project managers, biostatisticians, data managers and medical writers. The department is part of a newly established Innovation Unit and we are responsible for defining the clinical pipeline and strategic plan of activities generating evidence and delivering strong clinical data for Market Access and Market uptake.

 

Your primary assignments

  • Give statistical input to clinical study protocols including for instance design, sample size, power calculations and statistical methodology
  • Analyse clinical trial data and give input to clinical study reports related to development of new devices
  • Provide statistical advice to other areas of the organisation and perform analysis of pre-clinical studies, health economics data, Real-World Evidence (RWE) data and market surveys

 

Thus, you will have very diverse tasks and collaborate broadly with other functions in Coloplast.

 

Your competence profile

  • Appropriate theoretical statistical background as e.g. M.Sc. or PhD in statistics
  • You have several years of clinical experience from the pharmaceutical/medico industry
  • You have programming experience and expertise in statistical software (SAS)
  • As a person you take responsibility, you are structured, committed, and flexible and has a positive attitude
  • You are willing to make decisions and act on your own to embrace the diversity in the tasks, but you are also a great listener, who likes interacting with colleagues across functions, locations, and cultures
  • Possess good communication skills in English, both orally and in writing
