Application Specialist for STIBO Systems/ STEP
We are looking for an Application Specialist in our MDM & Quality Solutions Team, located in our HQ offices in Humlebæk in Denmark. 

In this position your main objective is to design & deliver IT solutions within the different data domains inside the STEP application to fulfil business requirements of the different stakeholders.

About the department 
Our MDM & Quality Solutions Department is a small but ambitious, multinational team. We are distributed over various locations within Europe.

Our goal is that our STEP platform becomes the company’s single source of truth for complete, accurate and transparent product and customer master data. We partner actively with our stakeholders to provide innovative and technically sustainable solutions to support the Coloplast Agenda in terms of growth and sustainability as well as the overall values of Coloplast.

We are part of the Business Support Solutions area within the Global IT Organization. 

The STEP platform is the backbone of our global MDM strategy, which is why we interact with many different stakeholders across the entire organization. 

The job 
The STEP Application Specialist is responsible for providing input and architectural guidance to support the business processes based on presented requirement as well as delivering the technical solution. This includes configuration of out of the box elements as well as customized/ scripted solutions. 

We work in an agile framework and expect active participation in the role as developer in the development team. 

The assignment also includes active 2nd & 3rd level support activities, continuous improvement tasks (development requests on existing processes) and configuration and development of new processes as part of bigger projects, including the relevant documentation.

In this role, you will also be working closely with integration specialists to achieve the best possible solution for automated data transfer and processes in a cross functional context.

Your profile
The right candidate has an IT background preferably within computer science or similar. You are a graduate or have a couple of years of experience.

To succeed in this position, you will need great communication and presentation skills, enabling you to make your ideas heard across an international organization and the cross-border team. Moreover, you have a strong methodological understanding and the ability to think both conceptually and analytically so that you can facilitate new IT technologies and designs.

It is important that:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in JavaScript in combination techniques around Java(Java 8+) 
  • Accustomed to working in Agile Frameworks
  • Familiar with Microservices /Cloud (Azure, AWS)/ REST /SQL 
  • Good understanding of the different parts of software development, testing and how they relate
  • Have a good understanding of design and user experience principles
  • Familiar with Scrum 
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent 
  • You speak and write English at a professional level. 

Experience working with STIBO Systems STEP platform will be an advantage.

Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have knowledge from the life science industry and understand the rules and regulations of the industry. 

On a personal note, you are known to be a team player, who is willing to share knowledge and be transparent regarding the progress of your tasks. You possess a natural curiosity to understand other people and have a humble approach in your way of working. 

We are looking for a person who is structured and has a strong analytical mindset. You are able to work independently and comfortable with working in a distributed team.
