Would you like to plan and execute clinical studies for a market leader within the medical device industry? And do you want to provide evidence to support products that make a real difference to people with intimate health care needs?

Become part of a specialist community
At our HQ in Humlebæk, you will join 17 colleagues in the Clinical Operations team in Medical Affairs. We plan and execute clinical investigations within our Chronic Care and Wound Care portfolio. At Coloplast, our clinical agenda is growing and with it the need for clinical evidence.

“The data we generate is crucial for Coloplast’s strategic goals, giving us a vital role in the future success of our organisation,” says Director of Clinical Operations Pernille Trøjgaard.

Ensure the optimal clinical investigations
As a Sr. clinical manager/clinical manager, you will drive and execute your own clinical investigations, becoming part of the whole process from start to finish. Our work often allows for more pragmatism and flexibility in comparison to traditional trials in the pharmaceutical industry.

To facilitate studies, you will collaborate and build great working relationships with relevant external health care professionals and hospital departments. Ultimately, your work will help provide some of the solutions doctors and nurses need to deliver the best possible care and treatment.

More specifically, you will:

  • Make clinical investigation plans and study related materials and prepare and oversee budget forecasts
  • Ensure site identification, investigator qualification, selection and training
  • Ensure approvals from health authorities and ethics committees
  • Monitor and coordinate field monitors as well as contract research organisations
  • Ensure patient recruitment is on track
  • Prepare, maintain and archive sponsor and investigator site files
  • Plan and oversee the packaging of all study materials to maintain accountability throughout the investigation.

You should expect approximately 20 travel days per year to monitor studies, visit hospitals and consult with medical staff both in Denmark and internationally.

Experience with clinical trials and strong stakeholder management skills

  • You hold a degree within life sciences, applied sciences, nursing or similar
  • You have experience with clinical investigations of medical devices or pharmaceuticals
  • You are familiar with the guidelines and directives within clinical research
  • You possess project management proficiency and can stay on budget
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English

The degree of experience will define the position level.

As you will drive your own projects, it is essential that you have a structured approach to your work and the ability to keep momentum going. Your good interpersonal skills help you to build relationships and collaborate effortlessly with internal and external partners.
