(Associate) Manager in Pricing & Trade 

Would you like to work in an organisation ensuring profitable growth by optimally translating product positioning and health economics into optimal price setting? Pricing & Trade is closely collaborating with Product Management and has strong ties directly to our markets to continuously work on optimising portfolio pricing and growth. In your role as a Pricing Manager you will be an important part in securing the backbone of a profitable growth journey for our Chronic Care and Wound Care business areas.
 

We offer you a broad role where you make your way across the organisation working with various stakeholders to define optimal pricing strategies, create and optimise tools and solutions for pricing processes and structures. Developing and implementing these, you will have a clear impact on both our top and bottom line.

Our team
You will be part of our global Pricing & Trade team in Humlebæk with 6 highly skilled and motivated colleagues, working for optimal pricing and growth for our innovative products. We do this by ensuring aligned global pricing for Coloplast products based on value arguments and commercial pricing analysis. To do so, we keep a close dialogue with the entire Coloplast organisation, relevant partners and our markets.


Improve our strategic and operational pricing
As an (Associate) Manager in Pricing & Trade, you will be an important team player in improving both strategic and operational pricing across the organisation, developing channel- and customer-specific pricing and monitor the price landscape and drive compliance. You will also be involved in country specific projects collaborating with local management. Key responsibilities will be:

  • Strategic pricing responsibility for new product development and mature portfolio for our Woundcare business area and support on other BAs
  • Facilitate our price approval process and implementation of global pricing strategies
  • Monitor compliance to pricing policies and price development
  • Facilitate business case approvals and maintenance of pricing databases


Your qualifications

  • The position is open for both newly educated profiles (Associate Manager) and more experienced profiles on Manager level
  • You hold a master’s degree in business, finance, controlling or equivalent
  • Experience in or are motivated by running projects from start to finish
  • A solid understanding of financial modelling and business case building is a plus
  • Exceptional numeric and technical skills as well as a commercial and analytical mindset  
  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills 
  • Fluent in English, both orally and in writing (Danish language skills not a requirement)
  • Good IT skills in general and expert user of MS Office – in particular Excel & PowerPoint, 
  • Able to travel 15-30 days per year (post Corona)


On a personal level, we are looking for a profile with a drive to make change and drive decision making through stakeholder management. Communication and facilitation are important parts in the stakeholder management both in HQ and the markets.
