Coloplast Distribution GmbH serves as the umbrella organization for the European logistics of Coloplast A/S, a Danish manufacturer of medical devices with over 16,000 employees worldwide. Coloplast develops and sells products for ostomy, continence, and wound care, skin care, and urology. Additionally, Coloplast offers home care services in Germany.
We are looking for an experienced Distribution Process Specialist (m/f/x) to strengthen our global team operating at various locations in Europe. This full-time position, with a weekly working time of 38.5 hours, involves supporting and leading various initiatives to optimize global distribution and the supply chain. These initiatives cover a broad range of activities, from operational improvements to tactical and strategic projects such as automation and large-scale global change management. We aim to fill this position as soon as possible, preferably at our site in Hamburg-Allermöhe; alternatively, employment is also possible at our headquarters in Denmark or at our branches in France, Italy, or Spain.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities:
- Supporting various initiatives and optimizations within the global distribution/supply chain as a Distribution Process Specialist.
- Working closely with project management to ensure successful implementation of operational activities and measures while developing your own ideas and proposals to achieve goals.
- Acting as a liaison between the global team, IT, local organizations, and other global departments.
- Maintaining regular contact with key stakeholders and serving as an ambassador for the Supply Chain Excellence/Global Distribution Teams.
- Identifying and analyzing issues, developing proposed solutions and processes, and creating decision templates for escalation.
- Training global super-users, coordinating community tasks, supporting users, and contributing to the continuous development of the community.
Your professional and personal qualifications:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Global Management, or Manufacturing.
- Proven experience working with supply chain processes in global companies.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Experience in stakeholder management, process optimization, and intercultural organizational communication.
- Proficient in using ERP systems and familiar with warehouse management systems.
- Strong analytical thinking skills; knowledge of SQL and Data Warehouse is an advantage.
