Scope & Impact
- Operational footprint: Inbound receiving, put‑away, bulk and pick storage, production supermarkets/Kanban, kitting, tugger trains/VNA operations, outbound shipping, and site spare‑parts warehouse.
- People leadership: Directly leads shift coordinators, wh assistances, wh recycling, receiving, dispatch, picking operators; overall team includes multi‑shift warehouse associates; responsible for maintaining the wh daily operations.
- Financial accountability: Owner of the warehouse team opex , and assuring the correct management of Nom Bom materials, MHE resources, and stock´s accuracy,
- Systems ownership: System daily implementation and usage for warehousing in Oracle E1 (Advanced Warehousing); drives master‑data discipline and audit readiness.
- Network interfaces: Liasing to Planning, Production, Quality, Engineering/Maintenance, Procurement, Transportation/3PLs, and other Coloplast sites for stock transfers.

1) Leadership & Roadmap
- Implement the warehousing initiatives aligned to site ramp‑up and Site targets
- Recruit and develop wh team, conduct PDPs, prepare training plans and related documentation and perform work at the highest level.
- Organize and improve warehouse layout and suggest automation/digital and lean initiatives to optimize flow, safety, and capacity.
2) Operations Management (Service, Cost, Quality, Delivery)
- Maintain daily operations across receiving, put‑away, replenishment to production, order picking/packing, shipping, and spare‑parts warehouse.
- Monitor and take measures to achieve target KPIs: Dock‑to‑Stock time, Production replenishment OTIF, Inventory Accuracy, Cycle Count Compliance, Damage/Scrap, and Order Lead Time.
- Assure daily management, visual performance boards, and problem‑solving routines; escalate and resolve constraints impacting production.
3) Compliance, Quality & Traceability
- Ensure full adherence to Coloplast QMS and applicable medical‑device requirements (e.g., ISO 13485 principles for traceability and lot control), including FIFO, quarantine/hold processes, and controlled storage.
- Act as process implementer for warehousing SOPs/WIs; maintain validated processes where required; ensure audit readiness and effective CAPA management.
- Assure all warehousing activities compliance; drive root‑cause analysis and systemic corrective actions.
- Responsible and accountable to implement, and to ensure, the points listed as required responsibility for “All managers” in Coloplast in section 4.3 in the Corporate Quality Manual, VV-0113743.
4) People Leadership & Culture
- Help build and maintain a high‑performing, safety‑first culture; recruit, onboard, and develop the operational team across shifts.
- Maintain team roles clarity, KPIs, and review cadence, assure standard work, and continuous improvement.
- Help define and maintain up to date skills matrices, certification programs (e.g., VNA/forklift, RF, E1 transactions), and succession plans for critical roles.
5) Safety & EHS Leadership
- Implement warehousing risk assessments and safe‑systems‑of‑work; ensure compliance with EHS policies, legal requirements, and incident investigation standards.
- Drive proactive safety initiatives (traffic plans, pedestrian segregation, rack inspections, battery‑charging safety, ergonomic improvements) and maintain all wh equipment’s in perfect conditions
6) Inventory Integrity & Master Data
- Achieve and sustain >99% inventory accuracy through robust cycle counting, reconciliation, and systemic error‑proofing.
- Ensure master‑data and transactional discipline in E1 (locations, item/lot attributes, units of measure, status codes) and effective interfaces with Planning and Quality.
7) Financial & Vendor Management
- Maintain under budget warehouse OPEX (labor, MHE, consumables, packaging) and productivity pipeline; help achieve and deliver year‑on‑year cost improvements.
- Help the wh manager to do yearly CAPEX for Storage, racking, MHE, and digital solutions; manage business cases, procurement, commissioning, and benefits realization.
8) Projects & Start‑Up
- Suggest and help build greenfield start‑up activities: staffing plan and training, SOP library, E1 Advanced Warehouse process design and testing, warehouse readiness, operational trials, and ramp to steady state.
- Engage daily with Facilities for building readiness (docks, charging rooms, racking, fire safety systems) and with IT/OT for systems readiness.
9) Risk Management & Business Continuity
- Assure the safety risk reporting and business continuity plans for warehousing (e.g., system outage, MHE unavailability).
