Value Stream Planner - job summary
|
|
Execute the value stream production planning, adjust and evaluate progress and resolve conflicts with respect to material and online availability/capacity. Responsible for flagging 4 weeks coverage for manning, shifts, raw material-proposing solutions (extra shifts). Support Site Master Planner and Material Planner when needed.

Major Areas of Accountability:
|
- Responsible of creating an efficient detailed production schedule for each machine with 1 month horizon, taking in account:
- SAO & BOV (back orders and sales service)
- Materials availability
- Capacity per machine
- Manning plan
- Priorities
- Maintenance and calibrations
- Sequencing of machines to reduce change overs
- Responsible to lead a daily revision of completions vs targets and agree with Supervisor and Value Stream Manager on necessary actions to take to make sure the production plan is completed according to committed plan
- Communicating the production plan through scheduled meetings with production and supply chain teammates
- Responsible to maintain master data to properly run E1 and OMP.
- Participate on the daily production Gemba meetings.
- Participate and provide status and actions at the weekly planning and operations meeting.
- Direct liaison between Supply Chain and Production at an operational level.
- Responsible to communicate to either Supply Chain or Production on relevant changes affecting one or more machines.
- Responsible for providing insights to production on required output levels and its impact to manning of each machine.
- Daily monitoring of the production process, initiate measures necessary for fulfilling orders, delivery times and logistics to achieve the objectives.
- Participation in projects of Supply Chain and Production area (Launch, CR, transfer, lean, etc.)
- Monitor inventory levels of the production area and warehouse (intermediates and/or finished goods).
- A proposal for any matters relating to the planning processes to improve efficiency.
- Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given
- Drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
- Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system
- Take responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position

Essential Qualifications:
|
- Bachelor University Degree in Industrial Engineer or similar
- Proficient english level ,minimum B2
- Minimum of 5 years in planning or production related positions
- Must have manufacturing environment related experience
- Experience in medical devices company is a plus

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
|
- Black Belt or Lean certification is a plus
- APICS certification is a plus
