Then look at this position: Microbiologist Laboratory Technician!

Here you will play a key role in ensuring the production environment complies with production standards we aim to follow and thereby ensuring the safety of our users.  

 

Your Challenge and Responsibilities: 

  • Support the microbiological laboratory and supervise equipment. 
  • Collect and select samples for microbiological testing, ensuring proper handling and storage. 
  • Prepare and sterilize culture media for various microbiological assays. 
  • Conduct tests to determine the microbial load on medical devices and related materials. 
  • Perform tests to monitor and control the quality of water used in the production process. 
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and personnel hygiene assessments in classified cleanroom settings. 
  • Prepare quality documentation, records and reports. 
  • Ensure compliance with MDSAP and internal standards. 

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Academic background: A relevant academic background is a plus.
  • Experience: 
    • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in accredited laboratories or similar (experience in the medical devices industry is a plus). 
    • Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques and procedures. 
    • Good communication skills. 
    • Basic computer skills. 
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in spoken and written English (other languages are a plus).

 

Timing:

  • Workplace will be Felgueiras in Portugal
    • During the first year the workplace will be between a rented office in Felgueiras, Portugal; with regular visits for training and introductions at our sites in Hungary and/or Denmark.
    • The travel program will be defined together with the manager.
