Job Function Summary:
|
- Lead the Performance of the Non-BOM buyers collaborators in sufficient time and quality, according to the tasks and expectations of the position.
- Ensuring and developing the quality assurance, quality management and other processes of the Non-BOM procurement department of the company according to the requirements and regulations used by the customers and the company, the requirements of the ISO 9001 - ISO 13485 and the Coloplast Quality Management System.
- Enforcement of the procurement rules by the employees of the department and fellow departments
- Ensuring the even workload of the employees in the department, as possible, periodical review thereof and taking the necessary measures for the above.
- Participation and/or supervision of purchases that require negotiation whenever applicable.
- Making corrective/developing/cost-reduction recommendations.
- Participation in the performance of the projects affecting the department, or the other Coloplast departments.
- Performance and administration of Non Bom Buyer collaborators to ensure engagement tasks in the systems of the company.

Major Areas of Accountability:
|
- Lead management of inventory levels for indirect materials, ensure there is a robust process for PO’s placement on a timely way, follow up and and ensure on time delivery.
- Ensure best price negotiations.
- Define and implement cost reduction projects for the department. Track and meet targets for the year.
- Lead local sourcing activities and bids.
- Collaborate with Global Procurement in all needed projects and/or activities.
- Lead the implementation project of the EAM purchasing and inventory control process for the site.
- Implement programs to improve indirect materials turns compared to a predetermined baseline.
- Lead local projects in collaboration with technical and operations development teams.
- Lead sourcing analysis and drive tenders when needed (e.g., Spend, Business Award scenarios).
- Address supplier delivery or quality issues immediately and provide feedback to Procurement.
- Support Global Procurement on supplier onboarding, including but not limited to request and follow up on master data creation, monitoring adherence to contract terms, conduct local supplier reviews, amongst other tasks.
- Identify and implement Best in Class purchasing processes.
- Responsible for supplier agreement negotiations for site specific suppliers, including pricing and terms.
- Represent Supply Chain on New Product teams, providing accurate feedback on supply chain strategies and variables.
- Actively supports efforts to streamline activities within the department such as the supplier Kanban process, Vendor Managed Inventories and others to be defined.
- Full administration of the ordering process from the demand until the approval of the invoice
- Continuous contact with the internal customers and the suppliers.
- Establishment and maintenance of a supplier database
Responsible for:
- Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given
- Creating a framework to track and realize savings through the purchasing activities
- Drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
- Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system
- Take responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position

Essential Qualifications:
|
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, logistics or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in purchase orders management, negotiation related activities, inventory management, and related fields
- Proficient with ERP systems, JD Edwards, SAP others
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.
- Travel required – up to 10% per year
- Proficient with MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Proficient in English C21or better

Preferential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Medical Device Company experience - considered a Plus
- Familiarity with Cognos Reporting platform - considered a Plus
