Facility Engineer

Job Function Summary: 

Ensure reliability, safety, and technical compliance of electrical and mechanical facilities and equipment through diagnostics, monitoring, and certification. 

 

Major Areas of Accountability: 

  • Perform technical diagnostics on electrical and mechanical equipment. 

  • Carry out inspections, certifications, and compliance assessments for electrical installations and industrial equipment. 

  • Ensure compliance with the Machinery Directive and industrial safety standards. 

  • Perform pre-safety checks prior to equipment and installation commissioning. 

  • Execute and interpret thermography, vibration analysis, harmonic analysis, and power quality measurements. 

  • Identify technical risks and implement corrective and preventive actions. 

  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance strategies. 

  • Prepare technical reports and compliance documentation. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement projects. 

  • Availability for travel and technical site visits when required. 

 

 

Essential Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (required). 

  • Experience in industrial environments, technical maintenance, or facility management (preferred). 

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, industrial safety, and the Machinery Directive. 

  • Experience with technical measurement and diagnostic tools. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Autonomous, structured, and responsible work style. 

  • Good communication and teamwork skills. 

 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Experience with power quality and harmonic analysis. 

  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring. 

  • Relevant technical certifications  

  • English fluency
