Senior QA Specialist
Espergærde, DK
impact our QA on existing and new products.
Quality is at the very core of everything we do—because our end-users depend on our products every single day to deal with intimate healthcare needs.
And that is exactly why you will get to make a significant difference in this role. You will get to define quality on everything from the early phase of process development as you join a team where we are in the process of improving our role as a quality engineer.
”You’ll get to act as the seasoned specialist that you are. As a manager, I will take your input and advice, and we’ll decide together as you impact the way we work with quality,” says Head of Pilot QA, Nicole Damm Appelby.
A team of specialists within quality
At our pilot plant in Mørdrup, you will join our QA site, where you will gain 5 QA specialist colleagues. Together, we work to create a quality setup for our production of both existing and new products within Wound, Chronic, and Ostomy Care. We also work closely with several stakeholders, such as process specialists, operators, and project managers. The stakeholder portfolio spans broad.
”We have a team with a good mix of skills and knowledge. We collaborate really well and are excited to define how we work with quality assurance,” explains Nicole.
A quality engineer
In this role, you will be engineering our quality setup. This entails defining and documenting our quality processes from a very early stage for existing and new products in our development projects and our production.
On existing products, you will mainly focus on maintenance and optimisation, but on brand new products, you will join the project from the very beginning to set quality standards for quality setup.
A large part of your work will revolve around stakeholder management in our various development projects, where you collaborate to make the full value chain merge flawlessly. Often, you will work on several products and processes at the same time.
”We’re also working on our internal processes of how we approach our work. So, you can say we’re building a new foundation that needs to be aligned across projects to make sure we share our knowledge,” says Nicole.
STEM and medical device background
As we work on our processes and redefine ways of working, we need an open-minded colleague who understands that project work may take some twists and turns. Also, you need to be good at stakeholder management and enjoy collaboration across disciplines.
Finally, we imagine that you:
- Have a degree within the STEM field.
- Have several years of experience within QA in the medical device area.
- Are fluent in English.
