Senior Project Manager

Project Manager at Pilot Plant for Global R&D

Do you want to develop processes that enable mass production of our newly developed products – thereby helping millions of people with intimate health care needs?

“Our products are typically produced for 20-30 years. So, it is extremely important that our processes are robust, which means that the improvements you make have a huge impact,” says Head of Unit Process and Prototyping Henric Nilsson.

Welcome to our Pilot Plant
At our Mørdrup site, you will join the Pilot Project Management team with 5 dedicated Pilot Plant project managers, each of us managing our own teams allocated to different projects.

As part of R&D, we follow product development projects from start to finish, creating robust production processes that ensure effective production for years to come, despite variations in materials or equipment.

“This site is a smaller unit within Coloplast with a cosy atmosphere and a spirit of helpfulness. You can easily develop professionally here. In fact, we are hiring now because our previous project manager has moved on internally to manage larger projects,“ Henric continues.

Follow and revise project plans
You will be responsible for your Pilot Plant project team’s contribution to the development of a specific product. The project team consists of highly skilled specialists within process development – usually from 5 to 15+ people. You also collaborate closely with the overall manager of the project and the technical project manager as you integrate Pilot Plant’s input into the larger project.
One of your main tasks will be to create project plans, ensure that these are followed and proactively adjust them throughout the project. Another important task will be to document the Process User Requirement Specifications (P-URS) and drive these through the various stages for technical review.

Moreover, you will:
-    Develop processes throughout the project while constantly taking our resources into account
-    Ensure that our stage gate model is followed and our KPIs are met
-    Continuously communicate with the larger project team outside of Pilot Plant

You skillfully manage projects and stakeholders

Your leadership skills make it easy for you to keep your team inspired and motivated, and you have a keen sense of how to enhance the strengths in other people. You naturally take the various concerns of different stakeholders into account while at the same time ensuring the progression of the project. Finally, you find it exciting to be a part of developing something new, which also means that you easily adapt your plans to new circumstances.

Moreover, you:
-    Have a degree in engineering or similar within manufacturing technology, process development, mechanical or production engineering
-    Have some experience with technical project management in an R&D or production organisation with a larger group of people involved
-    Have some years of experience working in a production environment, maybe from the medical device industry
-    Communicate effortlessly in written and spoken English

At Coloplast, we make sure that you can be you. That is why we encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, ethnicity, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief or marital status.

If you would like to know more about the position, please call Head of Unit Process and Prototyping Henric Nilsson on 4911 1236. We will take candidates into the recruitment process continuously, so do not hesitate to apply. This position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.
