As part of our strengthened Pilot Plant organization in R&D, we are looking for Senior Project Managers to lead Manufacturing System Development and ensure that manufacturing solutions are ready to support robust, high quality product launches.

Pilot Plant is responsible for developing and preparing robust, scalable, and cost effective manufacturing systems for Coloplast’s innovation portfolio, working in close collaboration with the rest of R&D, Global Operations, and partners.
In this role, you will lead manufacturing system development within innovation projects and work closely with other project managers and specialist functions to ensure manufacturing solutions support product performance, quality, cost, and long term manufacturability.
You will operate at the intersection of:
• Process and Manufacturing Development
• Injection Molding and Manufacturing Technology
• Product Development
• Commissioning
• Quality and Validation
• Supply Chain and Volume Sites
• Finance
Your role and responsibilities
As Senior Project Manager – Manufacturing System Development, you will lead the manufacturing development workstream within complex, cross functional innovation projects.
Your key responsibilities include:
• Provide project leadership for manufacturing system development, ensuring clarity, structure, and steady progress
• Ensure early and continuous focus on Design for Manufacturing, robustness, scalability, cost, and Built In Quality
• Lead collaboration across manufacturing, quality, and operations disciplines to support timely and well informed decisions
• Drive manufacturing investments and support financial decision processes
• Translating product and manufacturing concepts into manufacturing cost perspectives
• Consolidate and communicate progress, risks, and manufacturing and financial status to steering committees and governance forums
What you bring
You are a structured and collaborative project manager who enjoys working in complex, cross functional environments and understands that strong results are created through people and teamwork.
We expect that you have:
• +5-year experience with technical or manufacturing related project management
• A BSc or MSc within engineering (manufacturing, production, mechanical, process, or similar)
• Experience leading cross functional development projects
• Experience with manufacturing processes, production equipment, and industrialization
• Experience with Agile planning tools and methods
• Exposure to regulated industries (medical devices, pharma, or similar) is an advantage
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• A people oriented mindset that builds trust, engagement, and commitment
