Welcome to the Extrusion, Tipforming & Coating team in Material Processing 
As our new Senior Process Engineer, you will join a team of 10 highly skilled process engineers and technicians that contribute with process expertise in product and technology development projects. We have the responsibility of providing the best process solutions as the bridge between new concept development and full-scale production at our international sites. Ultimately we strive to reach innovative solutions that enable better products for our consumers.

Senior Process Engineer role 
We are looking for an experienced Engineer with the ability to collaborate closely with designers, project managers, mechanical engineers and other specialists to develop and define the right production processes.  

More specifically, you will: 

 

  • Be technical responsible for the process development deliverables in product development projects within Continence Care (Explore new technologies, develop and mature processes for selection, process and new material verification and support validation, ramp-up and volume production) 
  • Establish documentation and generate data to support data-based decisions in projects i.e. using Six Sigma 
  • Decide on the optimal process parameters based on statistical treatment of data 
  • Ensure that we focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) based on a data-driven approach. 
  • Specify pilot equipment and mature 1:1 for volume machine. 
  • Develop relevant new test methods to document process robustness and validation. 
  • You will travel 15-30 days a year to our production sites in Hungary and China to share knowledge and in some cases provide support to new manufacturing processes which have been developed in Pilot Plant  

 

Qualifications 

  • Technical background as engineer with processing of polymeric materials as area of expertise 
  • 3-5 years of experience with processing i.e. extrusion or coating  
  • Statistical understanding 
  • Experience with product development 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
