This is your chance to use your production process expertise across teams and projects to develop new production processes and technologies that support the launch of world-class products – products that play an important part in our mission to improve the quality of life for people with intimate healthcare needs.
At Coloplast, we are constantly working to improve and expand the existing product portfolio. This involves both the development of new production processes and the optimization of existing technologies. You will play a vital role in the development and integration of new technical solutions for our ostomy bag and baseplate machines, taking ownership of the current and future production processes.
Welcome to our Ostomy Care project team
You will join our Innovation team consisting of 15 highly skilled engineers and technicians, responsible for developing new production processes and technologies for future ostomy care products.
Moreover, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including suppliers, project managers, engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure that our production processes are optimized and meet all necessary requirements.

As our new senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that necessary process specifications and documentation are in place to support development of robust and scalable production processes from pilot scale to volume production.

• Initiate, drive, and deliver process URS – a cornerstone in the Coloplast Innovation
• Ensure the delivery of data-driven development
• Establish a deep understanding of our existing products and the production processes behind their manufacture – from technologies used to specifications and standards
• Optimize and implement advanced production processes using Design of Experiments (DoE) and Six Sigma methodologies
• Work on establishing the necessary specifications and test procedures to ensure that our existing product portfolios meet current requirements and future expectations
You have a strong mechanical/technical background
For this role, you need to be open, curious and motivated by working in an innovative environment with various technical disciplines and great variety in your daily work. You have an analytical mindset and enjoy working with the equipment yourself. Moreover, you master the art of communicating complex and technically challenging information in a way that can be understood by non-specialists.
Finally, we imagine that you:
• Have a technical background as an engineer or marine engineer (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
• Have a statistical understanding, e.g., using Six Sigma, e.g., SAS JMP, and are used to making data-based decisions
