Process Engineer for our R&D Pilot Plant

Then grab this opportunity to join the Pilot Conversion team at our Pilot Plant in Mørdrup, north of Copenhagen. We take part in the entire development process from the design phase to standing with the final product in your hands at our volume sites.  


Welcome to the Pilot Conversion team 
As a process engineer, you will join a department of 20 highly skilled engineers and technicians. 
We work together in teams with different professional backgrounds to develop and mature new production processes to ensure efficient production equipment being transferred to our volume sites.

In a position where few days are the same, you will work in cross-functional development projects. Here, you will develop and specify the production processes required to manufacture a product at our volume sites in collaboration with your project team.

More specifically, you will:

  • Be a part of a project enabling new products coming to the users – Your focus will be to develop and specify the production equipment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues with many different competencies in R&D, including material specialists, product designers, project managers, machine operators, etc.
  • Work both hands on at pilot equipment and theoretically to ensure a robust production 
  • Be in a dynamic environment with many different tasks going from inventing new equipment to detailed investigation of process parameters to ensure the best solutions for the user
  • Design and run tests at pilot production equipment in collaboration with technicians and machine operators 
  • Focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) based on a data-driven approach 
  • Decide on the optimal process parameters based on statistical treatment of data 
  • Help transfer knowledge of processes and equipment to our international volume sites

You are eager to develop future production equipment with a quality mindset

You find mechanical production processes fascinating and will like to develop production equipment ensuring products with the right quality are produced for people with intimate health care needs. 

You are curious and motivated by learning and solving challenges.    

 

Moreover, you are a strong team player who enjoys exchanging ideas and knowledge with your colleagues to come up with the best solutions. Your communication skills enable you to collaborate efficiently with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Finally, we imagine that you:   

  • Hold a relevant degree in e.g. mechanical, machine or production engineering
  • Have previous experience within developing production equipment or product development is preferable - but it is not a requirement
  • Have interest of working both hands on and with structured process development.
  • Have experience with i.e. statistical process optimisation, Six sigma, production equipment or 3D CAD modelling are considered an advantage
  • Speak and write English fluently
  • Are able to travel approximately 20 days a year, primarily to our volume sites
