Laboratory Technician, QA Lifecycle Laboratory
Espergærde, DK

Imagine if the quality of both new and existing Coloplast products started with... you.
As our new Laboratory Technician, you will become part of our Quality Assurance Lifecycle Laboratory, where we support products and processes throughout their lifecycle. You will work with ongoing production, helping ensure that our products meet the required quality standards.
If you are motivated by laboratory work, quality assurance, data evaluation, and close collaboration with colleagues across different functions, we offer you an interesting permanent position in a laboratory with a broad range of tasks and stakeholders.
“This is an opportunity to work with quality assurance at different stages of a product’s lifecycle. Your laboratory work and attention to detail will contribute directly to ensuring high-quality products for people with intimate healthcare needs,” says Lotte Stoklund, Team Manager, QA Lifecycle Laboratory.
Join a skilled and collaborative laboratory team
At our Coloplast Mørdrup site, you will join the Quality Assurance Lifecycle Laboratory. The team consists of 10 laboratory technicians and 2 test method specialists who work closely together to support ongoing production, process development, quality investigations, and test method activities.
You will become part of an engaged and supportive team with a strong team spirit and a valuable mix of practical laboratory experience and specialist knowledge. We place great emphasis on engagement, collaboration, and creating a working environment where people feel included, support one another, and share knowledge across tasks and responsibilities. In our daily work, we collaborate closely with colleagues across Quality Assurance, Research and Development, and Operations, and we value curiosity, flexibility, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Laboratory work across the product lifecycle
As a Laboratory Technician, you will perform laboratory testing and ensure that results and documentation meet applicable quality requirements. Your tasks will vary depending on production needs, development activities, investigations, and project priorities.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Planning and performing laboratory tests according to approved procedures, instructions, and test methods
• Documenting test activities and results accurately and in accordance with quality requirements
• Reviewing and evaluating test results, including basic statistical analysis and interpretation of data
• Supporting ongoing production with laboratory testing
• Contributing to investigations related to unexpected or non-conforming test results
• Supporting test verification and transfer activities
• Participating in equipment-related activities, including maintenance, calibration, qualification, and troubleshooting
• Writing, reviewing, and updating laboratory procedures, test methods, and work instructions
• Supporting change control, corrective and preventive actions, and audit activities
• Participating in daily stand-up meetings and contributing to task prioritization and workflow
• Ensuring that laboratory activities are carried out in compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements
• Contributing to continuous improvement of laboratory processes, workflows, and ways of working
You can expect a role with both routine and non-routine laboratory activities. You will have the opportunity to build a broad network across the organization and gain experience with quality assurance at several stages of a product’s lifecycle.
Bring quality and reliability to every laboratory task
To succeed in this position, you work carefully and systematically and understand the importance of accurate documentation and data integrity. You take responsibility for your tasks, follow established procedures, and
communicate clearly if you identify unexpected results, quality risks or challenges.
You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. As priorities may change depending on production and project needs, you are flexible and able to organize your work accordingly.
We imagine that you:
• Are a qualified Laboratory Technician or have a comparable laboratory education
• Have experience with practical laboratory work, preferably within quality control, quality assurance, production, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated industry
• Have a strong quality mindset and a structured approach to documentation
• Have knowledge of basic statistics and experience evaluating and presenting laboratory data
• Are able to write and maintain procedures, test methods, and work instructions
• Are comfortable working according to procedures, test methods, and quality requirements
