Associate Process Engineer for Development of New Production Processes & Technologies

In this role, you will be part of an innovative team, using your knowledge to develop new production processes and technologies that ensure world-class products. As an Associate Process Engineer in our Pilot Plant, you will support Coloplast’s R&D teams in developing new foams for wound care products and processes within both our Ostomy and Wound Care areas. Your key responsibilities will be within:
- Process Development: Explore and test production processes and identify material and process parameters on R&D Pilot equipment to establish solid production platforms for future wound care development.
- Process Optimization: Utilize Six Sigma tools, improve process control and reduce waste using statistical tools such as SPC, focusing on key parameters like efficiency and quality.
- Documentation: Ensure compliance through good documentation practices in a regulated industry. This includes understanding and evaluating documentation related to process development, parameters, and methods, as well as compliance with legal requirements related to CE-marked and/or validated equipment.
Analytical, structured and collaborative teamplayer
To be a success in this role you are motivated to learn and gain new experiences. You have an analytical and structured approach to problem-solving as well as beeing proactive with a practical approach to work. Addtionally, it is important that you are a positive team player with strong collaboration skills across disciplines.
We imagine that you:
- Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Technology Management and Marine Engineering or a similar technical field.
- Understand process development and optimization and material science.
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Danish is an advantage.
