The Role

 

Coloplast Limited is a leading international healthcare company. We are currently recruiting into a new role, to support the opening and expansion of our new premises in Dublin (City West).  This position will report to the Office Administrator and be based out of the Office premise. 

 

This is a part time position, working 4 hours a day (either 9am – 1pm or 10am to 2pm), however there will be a requirement to increase working hours to cover the Office Administrator during their periods of annual leave (therefore working approx. 6 weeks full time a year).

 

Key Tasks:

 

  • Accurately pick and pack stock orders for hospital customers
  • Ensure orders are ready in time for DPD collection, contacting DPD proactively if there are any issues or customer enquires
  • Pick, pack and cut sample stock of products requested for patients via the nursing team or via our online portal
  • Organise delivery of items through our logistics company with appropriate labelling of material
  • Maintain organised accounts of the stock we have dispatched to each account
  • Utilise the electronic stock management system, ensuring at all times that we have enough stock of the appropriate products and organise to replenish where necessary
  • From time to time (to cover annual leave) the role will be required to cover the reception desk and answer the phone to customers
  • Ensure the local working area is always kept tidy and safe
  • Occasional collection of stock from the wholesaler

 

Due to the office arrangements and layout, there is some requirement to lift boxes and transport them downstairs.  Manual handling training will be provided, and safe working practices are in place.

  • Ability to follow instructions and direction
  • Confidence to liaise with customers and DPD on the phone
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective planning and organising skills
  • Full Driving Licence and own vehicle for occasional company use

 

You will also need experience in:

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • IT literate with confidence in the use of stock systems and processes
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
  • Good level of verbal and written English language skills
  • Demonstrable numeracy skills
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred
  • Previous warehousing/logistics experience is preferred
  • Minimum educational qualification leaving Certificate or equivalent.
