Coloplast Nurse Ireland, Leinster – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for an experienced Nurse with relevant clinical skills who has the passion, drive, and commitment to develop and deliver Stoma care services within the community.
 

This is a field-based role covering all of Leinster, with a primary focus on Dublin. A full driving license is required, and Coloplast can provide a company car or car allowance. While this role is primarily in the field, there is an office in Dublin available if needed.
 

We are looking for a nurse who can work independently, is self-motivated, and has a winning mindset. They need to be a strategic thinker who wants to build on their commercial awareness and skills and has the confidence and courage to challenge.

The Role

  • Deliver professional and ethical care to patients

  • Support the patient pathway from hospital to home, providing home visits and community-based clinics

  • Undertake virtual consultations over telephone and video

  • Effectively and efficiently plan, manage, and organise caseload and time

  • Communicate effectively and provide feedback to patients, carers, and referring healthcare professionals

  • Maintain clinical records in accordance with company, legal, and professional requirements

  • Instigate working practices to ensure collaborative working between different stakeholders, e.g., acute and community healthcare teams

  • Generate and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare professionals across the region

  • Deliver educational support to fellow healthcare professionals

  • Undertake service audit/evaluation activities

Essential Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse – minimum 2 years post-registration

  • BSc Nursing degree or working towards

  • Stoma care experience is desirable but not essential

  • Sound interpersonal and relationship-building skills

  • Teaching experience

  • IT proficiency

  • Full driving license
