The GCC region covers Chronic Care and Wound Care in the Arabian Gulf and consists of wealthy countries with high ambitions for developing their healthcare systems. Yet, standards of care in our business areas are lagging behind. In the GCC team, it is our mission to change that. We have a bold ambition to lift standards of care and revenues to Western European levels. To achieve that, we are focusing heavily on educational activities, market access activities and consumer activities. We are launching new products and investing in expansion of educational services, Coloplast Care, and much more.  

 

As Commercial Excellence Manager, you will play a central role in executing our strategy. You will collaborate closely with the management team on project leadership and support within sales, marketing & business development. You will have the responsibility of developing and managing performance management for the cluster and you will own a range of commercial processes. 

 

The role can be based in our office in either Dubai or Riyadh, and reports to the Country Manager for GCC. 

 

Profile 

 

You The ideal candidate will design and implement commercial strategies, enhance pricing and margin management, and ensure best-in-class sales processes. Strong analytical skills, experience with Excel and PowerBI and data-driven decision-making skills are essential for your success in the role. You have a structured approach to work, are structured by nature and can manage many activities and deadlines simultaneously, and you deliver business results. There is room to grow in the role, so you have an appetite for learning and for taking are eager by nature to learn and take on challenges both in within and outside of your comfort zone.  

 

You are ambitious yet down to earth, approachable and collaborative, a loyal team player. You have a dynamic, creative, proactive and open mindset and enjoy exploring new ways of doing things and dare to embrace the unknown. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Acting as trusted advisor to the commercial teams and management by providing business andsalesinsights. 
  • Frequently follows, analyses, and effectively communicates commercial performance against a set target with a strong focus on accuracy.  
  • Owns tender processes and cycle management, incl. bidding and pricing strategies. 
  • Support sales force effectiveness through Segmentation & Targeting, ASAP planning and ownership of local CRM activities 
  • Participates in key strategic projects to improve our commercial performance such as Pricing excellence, Business cases, tools and software. 
  • Supporting the Annual Business Planning process and the Monthly Business Review process, as well as supporting budget, forecasting planning. 
  • Takes part in formulating and driving ambitious growth strategy for the region as a member of the GCC/Saudi management team. 

 

Professional Qualifications 

 

  • Hold a master’s degree or equivalent withineconomics, finance, business administration or other relevant study. 
  • 1-3 years in a commercial excellence, business analyst or similar role 
  • A strong commercial mindset coupled with an understanding of how the business operates and ability to see broader impact 
  • Exceptional analytical and numerical skills 
  • Ability to create impactful presentations which deliver a clear and concise message 
  • Super user of Excel, Powerpoint and preferably PowerBI
