Job function summary
The Head of Marketing position is responsible for driving and supporting revenue growth, pricing and profitability of the business areas in the India subsidiary. The incumbent will lead a team of Product Managers from areas of Ostomy, Wound Care, E-commerce and digitalization in the design and execution of short-term and long-term marketing strategies. Provides pro-active collaboration with Global Marketing Teams in the headquarter
Areas of accountability- Map and understand market segments, value per segment, dynamics and opportunities, to proactively analyze and propose added value initiatives together with Indian management team and Global Marketing Teams.
- Be the primary responsible for the product portfolio management of Coloplast India
- Is an expert in the competitive environment and has ability to develop a perspective of future market trends
- Provide leadership to the Indian marketing team by developing a vision and ensuring it is executed, while recruiting new members and continuously raising the bar for talent and capabilities
- Develop strong partnerships with KOLs and end users to drive stronger product adoption and usage
- Gather superior KOL insights for market expansion activities and guideline development
- Reinforce service differentiation, build loyalty through DtC activities, digital marketing & eCommerce
- Drive superior clinical engagement & partnerships to strengthen brand preference, create advocacy & raise standard of care
Education & Experience
- 15+ years of work experience in Marketing
- 10+ years of leading teams of product managers/ marketing managers
- Science/ B. Pharmacy graduate with Post-graduate Management Degree
- Extensive Marketing experience in Medical Device international organization
Required knowledge, skills & abilities
- Capacity to manage a complex portfolio effectively at both the strategic and tactical levels
- Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems with minimal direction and make decisions with confidence
- Demonstrated results in executing strategic plans, and actions to achieve the company´s objectives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with executive presence
- Strong belief in alignment with Coloplast Mission, Vision, Values
