We are looking for an experienced Nurse with relevant clinical skills and who has the passion, drive and commitment to develop and deliver Peristeen trans anal irrigation training in collaboration with the NHS within the London and Berkshire, North Hampshire and Surrey areas.

 

We are looking for a nurse who can work as an independent practitioner who is self-motivated and has a winning mindset. They need to be a strategic thinker who wants to build on their commercial awareness and skill and who has the confidence and courage to challenge.  

 

This role is full time and will cover Reading, Newbury, Berkshire, Hampshire, South London and Surrey.

The role - 

  • Deliver Professional and Ethical care to patients
  • Effectively and efficiently plan, manage and organise caseload and time
  • Provide clinic access to patients and where required home visits
  • Communicate effectively and provide feedback to patients / carers and referring Healthcare professional
  • Maintain clinical records in accordance with Company, Legal and Professional requirements
  • Instigate working practices to ensure collaborative working between different stakeholders e.g. acute and community health care teams
  • Generate and maintain effective working relationships with health care professionals across the Region
  • Deliver educational support to fellow health care professionals
  • Undertake service audit/evaluation activities

 

The Professional Qualifications and Skills - 

Essential  

  • Registered General Nurse
  • Professional portfolio: in accordance with National regulatory requirements
  • Nursing Degree qualification (or working towards one)
  • Expert clinician in bladder management is essential
  • Sound interpersonal and relationship building skills

 

Desirable

  • Bowel management experience and use of Peristeen trans anal irrigation – however this skill will be trained to the right candidate
